the width at the front is the same, its only that where it bends round the corner, it bends out further on the 22b to meet the arches which is where the width is.

The head lights are the same distance apart obviously, so the difference comes from the bits to the outside of the headlights.

there ar alot of people out there not u people percificly that are all dreamers and read about cars like this all day and night then offer prices over the phone and the money they offer they have never seen in there lives bttt

Simple enough Jim, if you look at the pictures on page 1, it's got a version 4/MY98 engine in it.

Edited for clarity: Look at the MAF sensor housing and coilpack location.

An STi version 5, like any other MY99 car, uses a different type of coilpack, and it would be fixed to the left (right in these photos) branch of the inlet manifold, rather than in the centre.

Also, the MAF sensor housing looks very different, with the sensor connector being located on the "back" of the pipe rather than on top. There are other details that give it away, but these two are the most obvious in the pictures.
