at the end of the day its a personal choice when it comes to spoilers, the functional(!) wings found on the 22b/p1/stis etc are to provide high speed stability for the rear end of the car..... the RA has a top end c.130mph so needs no high speed downforce 
Thats the way I look at it anyway.

POC, I remember CCC magazine covering an article around '95/'96 of a white Impreza that was a dead ringer for your car. It was built by Graham Goode and was being imported to Barbadoes for some drug baron! It had the std 5 spoke Scooby alloys but had the full cage and a naked butt. I assume from the condition it's not a UK car?

Andy, my car is a fresh import from Japan, I'm the first UK owner. All WRX upto bugeyes are imported cars, they never released the decent motors in the uk
The cage is a saftey devices number, they are pretty good and I would hope it would do its job if ever called upon, if it doesnt then I aint really gonna be that bothered about it

Hi Sub, what more mods could you do to it!?! The car was running standard boost when I sold it, I assume the owner previous to you had it chipped.
1.5bar is alot!

I remember POCs old 95 and it was a beast. He had done **** loads of mods and i remember before i got my scoob, seeing his and saving his pic so i had ideas to work with! lol

hey,poc,got no pics yet but will post some very soon.the car looks great i done loads too it .i cut up the front bumper and grills,meshed it all ,looks cool.upgraded brakes to STI fourpots,(whiteline)anti-roll bars,drop links and anti lift kit.bilstein pss9 suspention kit and loads more mods,,,, hheeehheeee the fecking car is costing me loads ((((((((( yeah its boosting 1@5 bar with twin downpipes and the hks ti-limited system.hey ,,,, it gooooo;s hehehe running 330 bhp.....
