'Cos we are a sales company we have to constantly try to come up with new ways to win new customers and retain existing ones. We have already supplied a couple of Scoobynetters but we are always on the look out for new opportunities! To this end The Weston Group management (after immense pressure from TonyBooth and myself) have invested in a TRACK CAR to take customers and potential customers for fun days driving quickly!! If any of you guys that have signed in would like to be invivted along to future track days please drop me a mail. We have put details and Piccys up on our site if you would like a look. http://www.thewestongroup.co.uk/trackday_car.asp

No idea mate. Depends how you measure these things I suppose. In terms of geographic coverage (i.e. number of countries reached), we operate the largest network in the world.
Equant was born out of SITA, which was formed by the airlines to provide the datacomms for airports. Therefore, anywhere there is an airport, you'll find an Equant node. Take into account that we are part of France Telecom now and we also use France Telecom's global long haul backbone network and there really aren't many bigger networks.
We spread ourselves pretty wide. Chances are if you dial into or attach to a certain well known ISP (3 letter name, beginning with 'A'), then you go through part of the Equant network. If you access most of the sites of a certain large US company that provides most of the worlds desktop operating systems, then you've guessed it... (we also operate a huge number of hosting centres all over the world and have nearly 2000 PoPs for dial in access).
Not sure of the total size or number of customers - don't think I've seen many details - pretty damn big though![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

Chris - yeah Im sure it does depend on how it is measured and by whom
. I have read various articles by different ISP stats companies who claim MCI are the most 'connected' ISP in the world.
Simon.
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Alan Mauldin, senior research analyst for TeleGeography added, The Autonomous System ranking is a measure of the connectedness of an IP network to the rest of the public Internet. While all networks can reach each other on the Internet, the AS ranking demonstrates the closeness of a network to the rest of the Internet, as in number of hops data must take to reach its destination. Since TeleGeography began tracking AS-connectivity in 2001, MCI has ranked first every year.
