Unhappy

Unfortunatly, the thin white lines indicate which vehicle they are RIPPING OFF sorry targeting.
Can u not seek the advice of a solicitor and argue that ur were level or over the point were 40mph is permitted ?? as it's difficult to tell in the pic where the sign is.
If u have to fill it in DON'T sign it and cause them as much hassle as possible, i am.

LB...."However if/when I get caught I will just take the punishment. 3 points make very little difference to the cost of insurance these days" maybe so, but what happens when its ur 2nd / 3rd or 4th time ?????? might think a bit different then eh...

i still have my case pending from MAY 15th, were it took them 38 days to send the NIP, they are now claiming its the 2nd NIP but it doesn't state on it that it is.
Plus its that long aga now i can't remember who was driving the vehicle at the time, (me or wife)so i have asked for photographic evidence (which i am still waiting on) so i can identify the driver, as filling in the form with the wrong details is also an offence, but as i had pimp tints its gonna be very hard to identify the driver........funny that, but we'll see what happens in court if it gets that far, cos i'll say she was driving and she'll say i was driving but as its so long ago we both can't remember......

Cool

I am not the registered owner its in my birds name thats why its took so long to come to a head she asked for a pic to prolong it then put me down as the driver(cos it was me) then they sent me a form and I asked for a pic (tennis begins) how does that stand with pace!
she has done her duty as required by law.

ps if it gets nasty I will have to take the points no problem!
or get battered!

I have studied the image and there seems to be ghosting on the print.

Implying that the camera was not steady at the time and could give a false reading.

The image should be razor sharp when filmed from a tripod, what I cant understand is why the time date format is blurred as this would not be effected by camera movement.

I think the image we are looking at is a capture of two video fields that make up the frame

Ie 50 fields per second making providing 25 frames (images) displayed every second.

To give the large separation of the fields the camera must have been moving, but that still does not account for the separation of the fields in the time/date display area..

Ask for a copy of the video, because the only way I think you could produce such a poor image is the have banged the camera, when taking the reading.

This could throw the evidence of seeding into disrepute.

Of course this is based on the analysis of the scanned video print that you have posted, the original you have may be of good quality.

cheers ajax the pic is very clear I took this pic with a camera!
I may have been targeted / taxed

I will ask for the tape just to be a pain in the **** and then I will not sign the nip and play tennis.

13 years with a clean licence and this **** happens yards away from a 40mph limit on a open road and plod wonders why they have a bad rep on speeding?

Inforcer:

The electorate votes for governments who in turn make laws to protect us

The police enforce the law and the courts make the fines to stop us breaking the law.

I don’t subscribe to the political or the tax view on this matter.

Most reasonable people think 30 and 40 mile and hour speed limits should be obeyed to protect us and our children in built up areas.

The problem I have with all this is that there are to many speed restrictions and local councils have gone mad extending their boundaries to include the next village or town.

This practice should be limited

There is confusion of what the speed limits are in certain areas and this should be addressed and a simplification of limits should be made

Ie
20mph outside schools and shopping areas etc

30mph in villages and towns

60 on all other A and B roads

80 on the Motorways

By the way voting Tory wont change the law and speed cameras are here to stay until the next technology comes along.

that is a fair answer mate!

I dont like speeding thats why I was supprised by this action I drive slow in built up areas and stick to the limits its just how and where I have been filmed (unmarked undercover plain clothed) that p1ssed me off £60 fine is a bit pricey as well! where is all the cash going? at the moment cops have such a sh1ty rep becouse of this and people are going to get rapidly getting p1ssed off and lose ALL respect for the police force when other crime is rising I know this becouse I am a victim myself and they could not catch the **** who broke into my home which was a week before this **** happened!
very p1ssed off as you can imagine!!!!!!!!!!

Inforcer:
Tips for reducing getting court

Never speed in a 30 mph limit.

Flat out on roundabouts (never seen a camera on a roundabout)

Tailgate on motorways (can’t be zapped through the car in front)

Be creative with black insulation tape on your registration plate.

Anybody got anymore tips for Inforcer

A sad loss this week

Charles Bronson dies aged 81
Associated Press
Monday September 1, 2003
The Guardian

Charles Bronson, the Pennsylvania coal miner who drifted into films as a villain and became a hard-faced action star, notably in the popular Death Wish vengeance movies, has died. He was 81.

Bronson died on Saturday of pneumonia at Cedars-Sinai medical centre, his publicist Lori Jonas said. His wife was with him when he died. He had been in the hospital for several weeks.

At the height of his career, Bronson was hugely popular in Europe; the French knew him as "le sacre monstre" (the sacred monster), the Italians as "Il Brutto" (the ugly man). In 1971, he was presented a Golden Globe as "the most popular actor in the world."

Like Clint Eastwood, whose spaghetti westerns won him stardom, Bronson had to make European films to prove his worth as a star. He played leads in films made in France, Italy and Spain. His blunt manner, powerful build and air of danger made him the most popular actor in those countries.

Bronson's first starring role came in 1958 with Machine Gun Kelly. He also appeared in two brief TV series, Man with a Camera (1958) and The Travels of Jamie McPheeters (1963).

His status grew with impressive performances in The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, The Battle of the Bulge, The Sandpiper and The Dirty Dozen. But real stardom eluded him, his rough-hewn face and brusque manner not fitting in with Hollywood's image of leading men.

It was after his appearance in the classic spaghetti western, Once Upon a Time in the West, that Hollywood began to open up for the actor.

His most controversial film came in 1974 with Death Wish. As an affluent, liberal architect, the life of the character played by Bronson is shattered when young thugs kill his wife and rape his daughter. He vows to rid the city of such criminals.

The character's vigilantism brought widespread criticism of the film, but Death Wish became one of the biggest hits of the year.

Bronson made three more Death Wish films, and in 1987 he defended them: "I think they provide satisfaction for people who are victimised by crime and look in vain for authorities to protect them. But I don't think people try to imitate that kind of thing."

Bronson is survived by his wife, Kim, six children and two grandchildren.
