REMEMBER as it is GPS it knows the position of FIXED cameras

You dont have to have one infront of you

Sometimes you may turn into a road and if there is a FIXED camera on a road running PARALLEL to you it will go off

I think one of the advantages of the R-A is the ability to store the position of a new camera, black spot or regular speed trap right on the scene of the problem rather than wait for an update.

Supercue, the laser detector is designed to pick up signals from the rear! as well as the front. So make sure it's clear behind the pickup.

Thumbs up

Thumbs up for RoadAngel, I do thousands of miles (White Van Man) and it keeps me up to date, especially handy on those Truvelos and SPECS sites.
Many a night I have been bombing down dark roads, usually when I bypass an accident on the M1 and it beeps so I slow down and just round the corner there is a blue camera (hidden in a bush naturally)
I reckon its saved me a couple of NIP's, worth £310 anyday if you get on a groupbuy.

Have to post the PDA details on here as I would love a sat nav solution.

Try Holux for a cable to attach the road angel to any popular PDA.

Then, set the GPS output on the RA to "on"

Install some GPS soptware

and bob's your uncle

You can get a kit that plugs into the back of the RA which connects the SLD920 laser jammer to the RA.

it has pointed out a few I didn't know existed on the M1
What kind of area are these in? I regularly do the M1 at a brisk safe pace but never any sign of traps (visual clues only - I don't have any of this fangled kit (yet)), or any notification of having triggered one.
