Hi Pete,

The gearing has now changed, (not as short) but what a weekend mate I'm sure my passengers will reveal more in the International forum with regards to it going around the Ring.

I did indeed get airbourne over the same section but I have to say Pete of all the cars I've tracked by far this old car of yours is by far the best...go-kart on rails springs to mind I'm running neg 3 on the front and 1 and a half rear so turning in is quite unbelievable

It runs out of puff at circa 130mph and is a little laggy but it's a safe engine, strong and so far reliable.....

As I've always stated, if you get a car to handle and brake it'll out perform many a higher powered car accordingly

Castle Coombe next Monday is next..a MLR day with lots of Mitsi's to play with

Scooby96, sorry mate we've all just got back from an excellent Ring trip, I ended up driving it over myself all 1285 round trip miles in a racing seat, no music, all stripped out, solid suspension, noisy, drafty etc.....greeeeeeeeat

Chris, that does not sound as if you did many laps?

 

As the man that got the golden spare seat to the ring, I would just like say a public thank you especially to Mellow and all the other drivers who gave me rides in their cars at the ring and advice, tips to keeep Mellow on his toes!!etc.

The RA is just outstanding on the handling. I have been in some cracking cars but never a saloon that handles like this one.

Being new to the Scooby scene everyone made me welcome and I thought I'd known everyone for years... not since Friday.
