...and (speeding) dudettes.
Lofty - your car looked TOO CLEAN for this type of weather, what do you put on it to stop muck sticking?
SM - Didn't I say your MAF would be the prob (well, part of it)? You know, I know you know.
Colby - Did you order a fire ring and gasket? I can do it if you haven't, 'coz I know what I'm asking for...I know you know and I think that you know that I know, OK?
Trickie - How many now for remapping? And I'm still down for the Friday 'coz I've taken the day off now, you know?
Stiffler - Glad to hear you getting your bent bits fixed.

Mornin all ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
SM - I'm full of cold too
Glad to hear the car's sorted mate
What was it??? Give us the lowdown!
I've just read through all the posts since Friday afternoon - it's taken me about half an hour
. I see Flin has got the big spoon out and is stirring things up
.
I'm sure I used to go to school with someone called Rich Fen. If it's the same guy, I think he used to work at 5-Ways and then at a Paint & Body place near Savoy Tyres round the back of where Stiff lives.
So who's getting mapped then? Just us 5 as per the original plan?
Steve

Morning Bryn ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
My car gets washed regularly with Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo - brilliant stuff
It occasionally gets waxed with Meguiar's stuff too and I think the shampoo kinda brings the wax back to life and keeps it shiny.
It was only clean cos I washed it on Saturday

'cos I suspect it might be on its way out. Car was idling at about 1500 revs at the weekend and stutters every now and again (like it did on the rollers). Also now I've got the LambdaLink installed I'm getting paranoid. With the remap coming up I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Big John (Colby) does most of our repairs and servicing - excellent workmanship and good price. You just have to put up with his sarcasm and practical jokes
And you don't get a Subaru stamp in your book!

The 60k service costs about £650 if you have it done at Subaru - the parts (genuine Subaru parts) cost about £300-ish. The other half of it is labour at astronomical charges. It's an expensive stamp in the book!!
