A question for you all
Define a great day !!!!!!!
Is it stuck under the wheel arches changing pads n discs on a scoob????
Or is it
Tear arseing around the twisties of the Yorkshire Dales inc jumps/fords/dirt trackes and occasionaly watching a rally???????
Hmmmmm let me think about it
Colby Ian says thanx for a great day also

£25 fuel, £10 for food and drinks - £35 well spent
Oh, add about another £50 to get the car cleaned afterwards
Dirty pics coming soon..........................

As you all know, my car is usually spotless. But after several Forest miles yesterday, here is the result. (To be honest the photos don't do it justice - it's looks a lot worse in the flesh ) I had to clean the lights tho 'cos there was about an inch of mud on them and they weren't illuminating the road!

I think Miketrix got some video of them all when we parked up after the watersplash. If so I'll get some stills from that and post 'em up. I'll take my laptop on Thursday as well so we can watch the vid

A few of us went up to watch the rallying at Gail Rigg yesterday. We went down some Forestry Commission tracks that were slightly dirty and found some nice roads to drive along, including a ford that doubled as a watersplash I think some of us even found a bump in the road which doubled as a launch pad
Your car would've been very happy there

Like you say, each to their own. But speaking personally - as a Subaru enthusiast who enjoys bombing around narrow twisty roads through forests and countryside, having a laugh, and then watching rally cars doing it properly, it was what I would consider a "good" day.

Daveyboy - how much do you want to spend on a Scoob? My brother-in-law is selling his Terzo if you're interested? Limited Edition UK car (there's only 300 of 'em (or is it 333?)), MY98, full decat, dump valve, Eibachs, oil cooler, new clutch etc etc.
sounds nice but prob out of my price range,
im looking at spending about 5grand max

No worrys John, was a good day ... we went for a long mooch for the last one up to a chicane which was hit by a few cars as it was after i blind flat out crest with no warning signs ! expensive for quite a few drivers.
We missed a hell of a crash, we should have stayed where we were at the start of the day .... The second corner that we started off at where the Evo was parked up got changed for the rest of the runs. They took the chicane out where all the marshalls were and made it run as a long straight into the corner ... Warren Philliskirk apparently had a massive off there, clipped the inside and 6r4 took off down the bank into the trees down below... apparently they had to fell a few trees to get the car out...
Dont like taking pleasure in peoples crashes but that would have been a good one to watch ! Never mind....
