Steve I got some practise at looking at a black Skoda travelling behind me today. Problem was I couldn't play with it as it was the unmarked police car. Will that be your usual position now?

Appeared behind me on Egremont bypass on the way home from work at about 5.15 tonight. Put his lights and sirens on, overtook me then buggered off up towards Cleator.

Stephen, I don't think that there'll be a run for a while now. I'm away at the Trackrod rally this weekend, we're getting the rally car SVA'd on Monday so we'll be getting that ready for its first outing, plus i'm going to Catalunya for the WRC event in a couple of weeks and somewhere in amongst that lot i'm supposed to be at work!
Abby, hows the seive, err, I mean headers?

Steve,
Might sound strange but it would be worth trying to have a word with the traffic cops. I've been told their Skodas run 280bhp as well as other mods, the initial purchase cost is low so they could afford a few mods

Golden Oldie, the reg of the Octavia is WJ02 K**, can`t put full reg on here as i`ll get asked to remove it, but WJ is the Exeter reg code so there wont be that many RS`s round here that start with WJ

Abbylad,
They swap the number plates every so often on unmarked cars, just to keep you guessing....
Oh and there is also a silver one in Carlisle, which must have REALLY good brakes, considering the distance he was off my bumper last time he followed me

Abby, how are you going to get the headers machined? I mean when they are unbolted the faces are parallel but when they're pulled together they ain't. I think that it needs the holes redrilling but they are too close to the edge, they'd need an extra piece welded in.

Hey Faster
Thanks for the clicky ...sad fact is these guys are ten years younger than me.....
Was driving thru' Carlisle at the weekend and saw a smart Black STi8, Small private plate, I guess he's called Rod..... I flashed etc (hopeless really as I was in the Picasso). Then noticed he was OLDER than me.
Now that is RARE

Holiday great, when you phoned i was just sitting on the beach front with a stella waiting for my steak and chips to arrive
stella at just over a euro a pint, how can it be bad
Although i returned home to fall foul of the curse of the STi8 Battery.
Pick a new battery up from palmers on friday so i can give the baby bus back to wife.
Seeing as im through at palmers i thought i would pick up one of them new prodrive sti spring kits which should make the 18's look even better
