I think the Audi was a 'Treser', perhaps why you cant find any info.
Have been in a couple of 911 turbos, pretty quick but never been in a car that compares to being on the back of a 1990 Suzuki GSXR1100.
AIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiEEEEEEEEEEEFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUCCCKKKK KKKKKK

j_p_h, I have a video on my pc of the Bond Bug, its awesome, it even manages to look reasonably stable, big credit to your mate for building that. Has he finished the Turbo Busa engined one yet ?

It was a m8 who built it for him. I think the turbo'd ones done havent spoken in a while so unsure. I fancy buying the R1 bug soon money permitting.
You dont feel stable at all in it though lol. I remember being in it on some country roads racing a 1200 bandit what was having a tough time. We were coming upto a long sweeping bend at speed and somewho managed to get round it on 2 wheels. All we could do was laugh it's pure crazy.

Fastest I've driven was my scoob in Germany indicating 158mph.
Fastest I've been in is Blow Dogs R34 V-Spec II Nur at an indicated 185mph.
BUT we were overtaken by Shin's R34 who went on to do an indicated 210mph.

On the track in road cars...
Have driven a Ferrari F355, Maserati 3500GT.
Have been taken on a flying couple of laps of Mallory Park in Chris Millard's 911 Turbo (in which he won the B'ham Super Prix) - that turned my stomach when leaving the pits - very rapid.
On the road - TVR Tuscan S, was taken for a rather fast ride, during which the driver performed a couple of 0-130mph runs, which made my Scooby feel downright slow afterwards!

Fastest track ride I ever had was in a stripped out MGZT driven by some up and coming touring car driver at Thruxton - awesome speed around the track - passed loads of 355's, Elises, Exiges and single seaters!

Fastest on paper was Ian F's Evo6 Makkinen. And 350bhp, 80mph AYC and a large roundabout was plenty convincing.
However, for sheer exhileration, it has to be Paul Palmer's old XR4i. Totally knackered, he bought it for 100 quid and took me on a 10 mile round trip. To this day I remember every sweaty palmed, white knuckled, heart palpatation inducing second of it.
astraboy.

Luke,
This is going back quite some time i'm afraid. My mates name was Matthew Sutherland and his Dad was really into his cars and wind surfing. He also had a South African Ford P100 with a V8 under the bonnet!!! As for the Tresa Quattro it was the full package, bodywork including engine. I remember that the car had been in a magazine feature just prior to mates Dad buying it. They used to live in East Horsley, Surrey and then moved down to Cornwall or thereabouts. My mates dad was good friends with a well known guy who lived and worked near Ranmore Common I think his name was Andy Butler or something, apparently very well known in the custom scene at the time. Anyone care to expand on this???

When i was about 13, one of my dads mates wanted something different so imported a "Corvette" from America. He didnt know exactly what was in the crate but paid 7K for a cherry red Stingray. My dad and i went with him to the docks to pick it up.
Anyway, got to the docks, opened up the crate and out rolls this 7.5l chromed beasty that was a dragstrip racer - complete with wheelie bar.
When he took me for a drive in it, he pulled up at the lights and a porker pulled up next to us and starts reving it. So we gun it and up pops the front end and leaves the porker for dead. It only drops down again when he backed off.
I'll never forget that feeling - amazing. Felt like id been punched in the stomach. Ive never since been in a car that could lift the front end off clear off the ground.
Couldnt tell you the speed we were doing but that didnt matter - i had been given an experiance i'll never forget.

The fastest I have been is 150mph indicated in my scoob flat out
The fastest I have been though is 170mph indicated on my ZX6R and that was mental Haven't got the ***** to do it on the R1 yet and go beyond that. 170 felt fast enough for me on 2 wheels
