I can see the womens point of view..Maybe though i should get her some high street therapy then clean her car for her as she always lets her car get dirty..then she would be happy with her own car..

As for a girly owner of a scooby - good on ya - you goona let your boyfriend drive your car when your not around?????

Gonna slip and slide her away from the car...if all else fails take her out in it and scare the pants off her so so wont want to drive it..

An old one I know - but this is why men love their cars:

1. If you leave it, it won't try to take your house.
2. Cars don't get jelous if you have more than one.
3. A car never gets a headache.
4. To turn on a car, all you have to do is turn a key.
5. A car doesn't care if you're out with your buddies all night long.
6. A car never has PMS.
7. A car can go all night long.
8. Cars are faster than most women.
9. You don't have to spend moeny on a car every time you go out.
10. When a car gets old and worn out you can trade it it, women you're stuck with for life!!!

9. You don't have to spend moeny on a car every time you go out.

Think it means - if you want to go out drinking you don't have to buy it a present to keep it sweet.

Not that I'd do that

My missus drives mine (well hers really) all the time. Takes it to work, picks kids up, shopping, etc. And to be fair she really looks after it although she did ring me at work the other day with "Listen, dont get angry but....." u know the line. Anyway, the scoob and another car clipped mirrors, his broke... mine (hers) retracted back, so no worries (phew!).

Having said that the last scoob we had she lost on a roundabout and caused £1700 worth of suspension/wheel damage.

Maybe i should reconsider who i bought the car for

Wink

My missis scraped her car again today - she hasn't done it to mine yet but its only a matter of time....

Apparently, men are safer drivers than women, i.e. have fewer accidents per mile driven. Women get cheaper insurance because they claim less per year because
i) on average they drive fewer miles
ii) their average claim is less than men's

My wife avoids my olf MK2 Golf GTI like the plague seeing as she has a year old Sharan, she avoids mine because its old, noisy and she cant turn the steering wheel, I avoid hers cos its a people carrier, is slow and handles like a big floppy jelly.

I find that ladies who are interested in cars are ok, the rest however

Kerb at least 1 mm off each wheel a month
add 1 new dent per journey
remove any spoliers or skirts on speed humps
never wash it
turn the interior into a bin
run it short of oil
drive on bald tyres
cant change a wheel cos they are too weedy and wont do a practice run because its dirty.

If my wife gets in the car I think "QUICK TAKE SOME PHOTO'S OF THE CAR BEFORE SHE DRIVES OFF".

I think there are 2 catagories of women drivers, and they do fit:-

1.Driver Women
This group are the one the guys like. These are ladies that know about the cars can drive the cars and enjoy everything to do with the cars. They normally attend scooby days or track days but generally enjoy the cars for what they are. A JOY TO BE AROUND...

2.Dont care Women
"Its just a car" comments often said. Not bothered about the car you drive, has no interest in the car or events to do with the car Track/meets. Thinks your spending far to much time with the car/mates. Keeps asking when your going to sell the car. Alway thinks buying magazines connected to the car are a waste of meny ...ETC.ETC.ETC

So here i can see just a few LADY scooby owners that actually care about their cars. If we put the boot on the other foot - would you let your boyfriends/partners drive their car knowing they fitted into catagory 2? ie, they were not good drivers, dont care about your car, and you know something would happen?????

My wife drives the scoob, and to be fair, when I see the way some blokes drive, I wouldn't let them loose on a scooter! Then again she has been driving for 27 years.
