Harvey

Shame your memory is short, did not see any other silver sti6 wagons there on the day. Oh well who cares, i did not know i had run against you untill someone told me, think it was Simon AKA Jolly Green Monster.

No romance or embelishment.

I enjoyed myself, and can only consider what might have been, although you obviously wont allow me to do this, as it obviously undermines your stature in the community. My deepest apologies, if my consideration has upset you.

Andy,

The smoke is the clutch. Think its knackered again. Recomend any?

Steven
(Why i am getting involved in this crap, think i will keep myself to myself in future, as some people obviously dont like their toes being trod on)

I reallly probably shouldn't be typing this as I have just been out on the **** in town, and I cannot type..

Harvey, your car is very fast but that last post sounds like it was beaten and you were coming up with excuses..? which is not the case as you won mate?!

Your car is flipping quick.. you need not come up with any excuses or answer to anyone else, you came first... no dispute.

Steven had a HT lead off as I ended up laughing myself sore when Rannoch (trout) noticied.. the lead was off... hence Steven's 13 all of a sudden runs.. and nice huge flaming back fires.
Also not mentioned was the inlet manifold leaking, noticed before the semi's.. also not mentioned.. but what is the need.. you had been running faster all day and fair play.. why the need for this??
There was not much in it.. but in 1/4 0.3 or 0.4 or what ever is a lot but in side by side runs (ie. the final) only one gear slip and first becomes second hence Marks comment of shock possible result. The HT lead was way before the finals and sorted and done with.. seems people are desputing stuff that was not even used as excuses..
On the day Steven shock Harveys hand and said "well done".. and all was fine.. reasons for second and first are not need to be disputed..

As far as I recall Steven ran against Harvey earlier in the day.. in practice and leanring and was across the line before Harvey.. whether the timing gear agreed.. ie. you both started at the same time I dunno.. but with so little (0.3seconds) in it I can see why Steven felt a possible win achievable.. or people watching might thing that.,, which made watching more enjoyable..
Doesn't mean he tohugh he had it just that with so little in it the possibility is there..

Harvey won, fair and square I do not see that Mark or Steven has tried to dispute this yet both Andy and Harvey have jumped as if this were the case.. perhaps this is due to previous disputes? I dunno.. I used to get annoyed that in particular Andy and Mark argued.. now I find it amusing..

We all know each other.. come on... chill... Harvey won fair and square.. until the next time..

I find it amazing how much underlying malice some of these threads appear to contain.

Harvey - fastest/2nd fastest in UK
Andy - as above
P20 - fastest UK car/wagon

You've all achieved this through different methods - why can't you all appreciate what you've done and respect each other rather than constantly b1tching and sniping?

It's pathetic and like being back at school. How old are you 3?

All IMO of course.

Talking

PMSL at this thread.

How come every time the scoobs meet up, rolling road, track day or 1/4 mile runs etc there is huge threads arguing about the most ridiculous things. I am seeing it creep onto the 22B bulletin board too now.

Why not have a big punch up before the event so that the winner of that can say what they like as whether they are right or wrong they are the hardest and so can't be argued with. lol!!!
