It's not just the UK Sti thats strangled by the exhaust. I bought a new JDM Sti with the twin scroll and my initial reaction after a UK sTI was dissappointment mainly with loosing the distinctive subaru noise.
With a full decat exhaust the car has been transformed and is now explosive acceleration in first 4 gears.
