I have to say Prague is a very place. Me and the g/f went for a few days from last Wednesday. Bumped into a couple SNer's at EMA who were also off to Prague.

We stayed here
Hilton Atrium

Good job the other half works for Hilton Hotels! Also thanks to the weak US$ We paid less than £100 for 3 nights incl breakfast and 2 rounds of drinks. A word about the drinks though. The beer was 130 CSK for 0.5l. Even in the most touristy pubs (U Flek? for example) we didn't pay more than 50 CSK. Best price we saw was 18 CSK.

Anyway, it wasn't too cold - 0ºC give or take a couple but no snow

We did the cultural bit rather than get lashed every night.

Here's a few shots...
Charles bridge and Prague Castle

National Theatre

Astronomical Clock in the Old Town Square

Tynsky's Cathedral by day in the Old Town Square

and by night

Charles Bridge from the Castle

And finally...
Nibbles at U Betlémské Kaple a pub in the Old Town

Paul,

They don't enter Europe until May I think, so its still their own currency at the mo. You'll need to sort yourself out with some Czech Crown (koruna)! Dunno about the hotel.....
