why not get some forklift tyres - ideal slicks for track use and solid so you don't need air in 'em - no more valve caps needed ![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)

Just had some hols near Glastonbury and there was a ****** apparently going round the car park at Clarks retail village place nicking caps only found out when one oldish bloke in a new Smart ran across and grabbed his handlebars to "suggest he returned them."
Must have got them back as he went round each wheel fastening them back on![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Apple - Black caps and couldn't give a toss about having shiny ones

caught some kids stealing them at a car show in north wales, another kid grassed him, so we grippe dhim and demanded them back, he produced a pocket full of about 50 caps!
off most of the classic jags, had to go deliver them to the announcer to dish back out.

I caught a group of 6-7 11-year lads round my car (UK300 PPP) ... this was staright outside the house and about 5pm last Friday. When two of them 'disappeared' I went straight out to see what they were up to .......
To cut a long story short I'd caught the little gits in the act. All 4 of the metal caps were gone, but after going round the houses and putting the $hits up them only 2 showed up. I was getting nowhere so told them I wasn't going to call the Police but don't want to see them round my car again. Then the littlest kid of the lot said "I've seen two like yours in the playground for sale" - apparently the older kids bully the younger ones into stealing them so they can sell them ... hhmmmm - so I told him that if he saw them to buy them back and leave them on the wall. I thought if I take the calm and collected route with these kids they may not do it again and not come back at midnight with a coin or something .... then as I said 'clear off' in a nice way the littlest one came up to me and said 'cheers mate' and shook my hand !!! Cheeky little t**t, wanted to clip his earhole but made me chuckle actually ....
Anyway, I replaced them with the lovely black plastic caps from Halfords. Then, about 3 days later I opened the front curtains and there on the window sill outside were the other 2 metal caps, the little buGGer had bought them back !!!
No harm done in the end, but cheeky little blighters ....
Cheers

Left 3 sets of shoes outside my house (like to take them off before treading on the carpet) been OK for 6 years......
Live in a Cul de Sac so no through traffic etc.....
Well 1 week ago some bugger has nicked all my left shoes, 1 Oakley -Suede, 1 Nike Trainer & 1 Addidas Trainer all size 11.....
I had the kids searching for them but no luck........
It cost the other half a fair few quid to replace & I end up getting them for birthday presents........
