no worries mate
It seems you are doing everything right by the screen shots etc
Did you say that the when it is importing it whizzes down the list?
If it does it usually means the itunes is having a mare reading the cd for import purposes.
It make be a one off so have a go with a different cd.
Is the CD multi format, audio and something else.
The only time i had anything similar to that was when the CD was buggered.
Might have to put this one down to a failure
Chalk this one up as a tick against itunes

Little icon goes orange with the wavey line and then green with the tick and moves onto the next track. The status at the top never moves. Does the whole list in a metter of seconds.

The CD isnt multi format that I know. Its old 1996. I also tried another, also old (1992) and it does the same.

Could it be unhappy with other installed apps, RealPlayer, Windows MP, WinAmp etc?

Cheers for help

Edited, PS This second CD it doesnt even play? The little speaker icon goes down the list like with import but does nothing? Could be unlucky with these two CDs but odd that all the other installed players can cope?
