Cool

Sorry m8 - no "process pics" but

Heat up soldering iron, apply to pins on u/side of pcb of 1 LED. Use soldering iron to push the pins out, with a gentle tug on the led/slieve. When out, slip the rubber slieve off the end of the LED and bend outwards from 1/3 up the leg that came from the side nearest the edge. Repeat for all 5 LEDs. Obtain wire in 2 different colours. Use one colour for the edge side to the bent pins and the other for the inner to the straight pins. This is to preserve the correct polarity otherwise no lighting up I used a cordless drill/screwdriver to twist the 2 lengths of wire together, just to be tidy. Again repeat for all 5 LEDs. Give yourself about 20 inches of wire to be on the safe side for each LED extension. The other end, is a question of marking accurately the holes where you want them, drilling out and inserting LED holders (6p each from Maplins), then the LEDs into them (in the correct order ). Route wiring under dash and all done.
