TON3 ,
Couldn't agree more !!
Thought it was absolute b*llocks !!
Far too "arty" , ... as for the Anime , obvious budget must have ran out !
Next thing every "moviemaker" will be making Vol.1 and Vol.2 films just to milk the public .. Rip Off !
Bring back classics like Pulp Fiction .
... Flame suit well zipped up

Just come back from it and enjoyed it too.
Many good bits, some already mentioned here.
The sword play reminded me of The Water Margin, from TV when I was a lad, and the big fight scene reminded me of The Killer, but I believe Tarantino is a John Woo fan anyway.
Loads of action and loads of fun, the Missus enjoyed it too.
There is always something to remind you of a previous Tarantino film, Michael Madsen was there ( I take it we see his demise in the next part??) plus the guy organising the (almost) Necrophillia in the hospital was one of the cops in Jackie Brown, I think.
Plenty of time shifting too.
Perhaps I should be surprised that there is no Samuel L Jackson?
Roll on the next part and I will fully make up my mind.
