Standard alarm and there is a tracker in it but I didn't get it activated (not a requirement of my insurance and didn't lower the premium).
I'd seriously consider the p/x-swap for the golf btw

Just called Liverpool Victoria for insurance... Won't quote on an Impreza for under 25's..... Strange!!
My insurer wants an extra £90 a month on top of the £45 I currently pay for the Golf!
Roll on May when I am 25!
I'll keep trying!

Sorry Kenny, I have been trying all morning to get a decent quote on your car and even with the tracker folk don't want to know as I am only 24. Tesco were £1200, same as Adrian Flux etc.... and I just can't afford that.
Apologies for getting your hopes up
BTTT for you though

Thats a nightmare but it won't get massively cheaper than that for a scooby when you are 25. Most mature full no claims owners are still around £700. As standard I am @ aged 24 about £900 and when modified it was around £1200 ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
It hurts when fellow employees are paying £150 in a micra - I'd love insurance to be that cheap

In an effort to help you get a scoob this century
Try A-Plan and ask for the Thatcham no. Doing good quotes at the moment...

£900 is a great price at 22....
my problem is that I am 6 months into my current policy, and turn 25 in 5 months... so I want to stay with my current insurer if poss so that the 25/cheaper insurance etc happens at renewal time...
But, don't want to pay an extra £700 for 6 months insurance!
