Have you got the matching pipe, flat cap and slippers
Actually, if you got low 14's for a NA car, that not too bad. But did you empty out the interior and pump up the back tyres to get it?
I had a 5GTT that ran 13.62, and I still went out and bought a Scoob.
Edited to say, RED TARTAN SLIPPERS

heheeeee this is just getting interestingmetro beat a scoob unless the metro has a turbo etc its all pilot error and everyone can make a mistake, but i think the scoob culprit is a bit optimistic on his BHP figure 16 psi and you think your running 290bhp mine runs 1.3 bar and has just been R&R'd at 260bhp so i dont think yours will be anywhere near what you think, but its nice to guess

hello
right as stated the car is a factory metro gti , apart from the engine , it had full interior etc , the car is quick because power-weight ratio. the car should be ( soon to be tested ) about 160-170 bhp , in a car factory weight of 880 kg, so work out the bhp-ton ,u guys have more advantages of been able to launch at a much higher rpm ! i'm not to clued up on the scooby engine , what sort of power should u be getting around 16 psi ? and what do the wrx's run as standard ?

Hi you still about...
It get complicated when talking of scooby bhp. There's so many different types
Mines a jap import 94 wrx which is 240bhp out the box on 100 ron petrol running 11psi ( i think, waits to be shot down)

as a comparison mine ran 281bhp @ just over 1.05bar preasure on optimax plus booster
mine is 276bhp as standerd on 100 ron fuel
more boost does not =instantly more power, there are other factors to be considerd
like how powerfull the car is as standerd etc etc
and other mods

Dualtech, my MY93 WRX with ScoobyECU, Turbosmart boost controller @ 15.5psi, HKS SPF induction kit and full Scoobysport de-cat made 273bhp @ Well Lane a couple of weeks back so I should think yours would be around that mark.
EDIT: I can't beleive how sensitive some of you guys are, come on the guy has a 13 second Metro, how much fun is that? And I bet it cost less than some of us pay for insurance.

thanx mate
Well it's not quite a 13 secs metro YET lol , but it will be , it upsets alot of people , had a play with a pulsar on the road the other day and drove around him in 3rd , and then came the story "only running on 3 cylinder's " , if i was to tell the truth , i would be a bit pissed if a shedy metro drove around me , so i'm not surprised at the resoponce i got , project no.2 over the winter a turbo'd version should see me into the 13's

So wheres the videos of you losing the first two runs, dont tell me no batteries for the camcorder .
Only joking you are hardly likely to post them, I wouldnt . Good effort though maybe I need to run mine against a top fueller no chance of him/her coming on here and saying I beat an impreza with 5000bhp
