Only other thing I came up with was RRS-Red Rose Scoobs. LADS sounds ok, but tbh I don't really get the district bit
Still think ELS is the best candidate as it's self explanatory, and it's where we're from, well most of us

District was to incorporate all those little places that are not in Lancs, E.G Little villages the other side of Colne, Ramsbottom etc that are in the middle of nowhere, literally.
The more the merrier.
Will give till next weekend then decide where to go from their.
If anyone has any idea's on what we need to be doing to make it a success, get posting so we have a good starting point.
Regards
Trev

Why not come up to "The Raid" on sunday with us and MDM. It's a great run out, I know a bit far, but it's worth it!!

O.K Guys
This is the revised list of interested parties ----
TREV
SCOOBY TOWERS
haptonscooby
KEV
pilkster
The TunnelMeister
Sir_GetShotALoT
CRAFT
KENNY555
hendy
Jap STI 3
So next step idea's on where to meet (initially anyway).
Would a Sunday be beneficial to most people for a first meet to try and sort out some positions, IE CRAFT for tour operator lol.
Also got some news on discounts.
So somewhere centralish, safe car park, possibly a sunday.
Your suggestions please
Regards

Iv'e no doubt once we have sorted a few things out down here we will be crossing the county border, invading your land and raping your cars ( metophorically ).

Well my thoughts on the meet up is the "Duke of Wellington" on Grane Road(A6177) in Haslingden, it's quite local to east lancs lot and also is 5 mins off m66/m65, and it's got quite a big car park. I think that the last drop is more bolton way if memory serves me well. We need to have a look around for some decent car park pubs in the area, so keep yer eyes peeled folks.

Sounds a good suggestion,
15 mins from Rochdale, Preston and Burnley, 10 mins from Accrington, 5 mins for Scooby Towers lol and central to most areas.
Does an initial meet on a Sunday appeal to all then we can take it from their.?
Suggest either Sunday 23rd or 30th November and a time of say 1:00pm, whichever suits the majority.
Get your thinking caps on for suggestion on how to move L.A.D.S forward and how to get more local Scooby owners to join us.
CRAFT
Once we have agreed a date could you post directions for the meeting place for all concerned.
Please sign in with your preferred date or state either if that is not a problem.
Got lots of info on discounts and specials covering servicing, parts, security, aftermarket and even valeting.
And keep reading the thread, thry can move quite quickly as you know.

Three pages and not one mention of the Wiggin Tree
I'm surprised that no-one on this thread goes - only a couple of months ago there were 10 Scoobs, 9 Evo's and 2 Skylines all at the Wiggin Tree pub, atop o' Parbold Hill, just of Junction 27 of the M6. The meets are the first Wednesday of the month and kick of from about 7-730pm
Having said that, there is no reason not to rotate venues...have a chat with CHAOS69
I don't like the sound of East Lancs simpley for the reason the County is not big enough to also have West Lancs and North Lancs. As someone who pays council tax in Lancaster, I can confirm there is a strong ownership in Lancaster, Morecambe and the surrounding area and don't forget TEG in Warton, near Carnforth...
SMACS already covers South Manchester and Cheshire so why not go for the whole of Lancashire - Red Rose Scoobs gets my vote
Just my two pence worth

This is why we have decided to change the name to Lancashire and District Subaru's to encompass not only ( as CRAFT pointed out )Impreza drivers but the full Subaru marque, ( maybe not justy's ) and covering Lancashire in total and any districts which are borderline, ie Cowling which is on the Lancs/Yorks border the other side of Colne.
