which Dump Valve do i go 4?

I've only really encountered one other dump valve before and that is on my mates Fiesta RSTurbo so I don't know how the Bailey compares to others.
I originally asked for a recirculating valve as I thought an atmospheric one would get annoying after a while. I'm glad they put the Bailey on. It's not too loud so when I get fed up with it I can just turn the stereo up and drown it out!
As for performance, it has virtually completely got rid of lag. I no longer get the long pause after a gear change that I was getting before.

Thought I'd better tell my insurance company about the dump valve so just spoken to them and they gave me two options: 1) Increase excess by £100 and pay £46 extra or 2) pay just an extra £78! I went for option 1!

Had a Bailey D/V fitted a couple of weeks ago. I love the sound, but unfortunately my girlfriend wasn't too impressed (to say the least). I sold the idea to her saying that it was a safety devise that enabled you to accelerate if you got into trouble !!! ("what for?" was her reply to that) and it would save the life of your turbo!!!
With regards to the perferomance - I can't tell a lot of difference at mid revs. However, take it above 5000rpm and any lag just disappears when you change gear.
The only downside is that I reckon my fuel consumption has dropped slightly - not something I was expecting or was told about before having it done.
Anyone got any ideas what may be happening?
Is it because it is now running rich?
What does this mean and why does it happen?
Will it cause any problems?
Does it mean I could run higher boost pressures?
So many questions - any answers.
Cheers
