Hi chaps

i still have the details, the owner did ask for them to not be broadcast on the web

if we can get an agreeable mid point i will talk to him again, i need about 2 weeks to get mine fixed though!!
Perhaps we could pick a point slightly more central, perhaps somewhere off the M1. If you could post your location, we should be able to find somewhere that everybody can get to. Do you agree with that Ray? and would your contact be ok with that?

I live down in the depths of the SW - Devon / Cornish borber.

Reading is quite a way, but don't mind too much. Off the M1 somewhere is getting a bit too far.

I've had my jammer fitted for over a year now, it has worked impeccably while been tested HERE and has worked on two other occasions in 'real life'.

However, last year i passed a camera van and it didnt operate, as usual i was below the limit, so wasnt that bothered, i was however left wondering if the camera vans used a different type of camera.

Same thing also happened to BuRR on here, his jammer didnt go off either, and he even made sure the operator was firing at him IIRC as he stopped and asked for the guy to check his speed!!

just to inform you that over two weeks ago i was shotat by a van.

everything went off and no NIP - which is good news obviously.

i am a little distressed at BuRRs experience though.

anymore to add to that as i am starting to worry about the equipment in certain situations now!

I have my LRC100 connected to my Origin B2 and have it situated just under my number plate, the TV remote control test sets it off and I have been targetted by hand held laser a few times and it work no problems.

Could the camera vans you are talking about be the tax ivasion, number plate reading cameras and hence not use laser, not sure ??

TV remote control sender test ?? how worthy off a reliable test source ??

just a thought ??!! if a car is equipped with a garage door openor fitted to the sunvisor, and yes I do mean just a purpose designed gargae door openor nothing else !! is this systms just missing the remote front sensors to form an actual radar diffuser systmn ?? ie this openor box itself be enough to jam the laser camera ??!! as I say " just a thought " !!!!! anyone ??.....

Well the TV remote works on mine if you get close to it, obviously it only really shows you that the device is working, the only real way of testing it is via a proper handheld laser source...

Not read the LRC100 Manual then as it suggests trying the remote to test all is well ??

Yours sounds buggered to me, with the TV remote touching the sensor I can get it to activate no problem...

It's obviously not what the Laser Gun uses but it's a way to test the unit if a little crude...

I did not try the remote right up close, I tried it at about 2 inches away.

Do you place it right next to it, eg touching?

radar /laser detectors dont respond to this very important (?) !! test ?? why not ?? have tried two proven units ( snopper s5-r / bel980 ) but nothing !! surely they should also pick up this signal within there laser signal sensors ?? should they not ??!!!
