With the right buyer it could fetch around £150 ish.Difficult one to categorise tbh.More suited to a mini fan than a watch fan i'd say.

You've got some nice feedback though(just being nosey like)...

At the end of the day, I'm not a watch dealer and really don't have a clue!! Although I think you're right about the Mini fan wanting it!

As for the feedback, I think it's a case of keeping buyer/seller up to date and promising what you can actually do!!

What makes you think it will go for more?

If I were getting email bids and someone had bidded £50 and another £100, then I would get £100!

On ebay with the same situation, the £100 bidder would only pay £51.

Very rich (excuse the pun) coming from the man who was upping the price of the watch earlier and wanting a cut of it!!!

Well i'm £75 bid Andy. Firm. Please bear that in mind too.

But like all E-bay auctions, it's all meaningless until the last five minutes.

I don't get this thing about the last 5 minutes of an auction. if i want something, i bid what i want to pay for it. if someone else wants to pay more for it, let them get on with it. am i being a ****?

btw i don't want this watch

PC, no, you're not, but that's how E-bay auctioning has evolved. People only want to pay the minimum of course, so want to leave it as late as possible to see how little they can get away with. Only then will you discover quite how badly another person wants an item, as their self-imposed limits go out the window in the frenzy of it all.

Personally i think it's unfortunate this watch had to be auctioned this way, but it will certainly maximize the price for Andy.

bids just come in with secs to spare.the bidder will have 4 windows open, with bids set in each, and they wil post them all withing the last 20 secs,so its impossible to tell until the auction ends

Charlie,

I agree with you, if I want something I bid on it!!

If I really want it and it gets close to my top price, I will just rebid with my maximum price!

I didn't realise there was a bunch of tactics that should followed!!

I'm no expert when it comes to ebay, but I would have thought it might get more interest if it was listed in Automobilia.

Just a thought.

I was only expecting £50 for it, so I can get a pint with the difference!
