From: West Sussex-Scoob stripped :( Hello Audi A6 4.2V8 Quattro :)
Myself and wizard are just waiting to confirm the availability of a certain empty runway towards the south coast, hopefully booked our cars with Steve on 18th jan.So he'll do both cars on the same day, which will mean a very early start........but who cares
Thanks Windows for organising this from myself and wizard. And whoever the lucky f***er is who gets it done first, dont forget to get back on this thread............and gloat

First one to gloat then
Been smiling for a few hours now. If you want to know what it's like...erm some sort of forward moving ejector seat.
The Anti-lag is quite mild. Not quite rally slag but it's up to you how you much you want to destroy the turbo.
What's even better though is, including mapping playing with anti-lag, steve scaring the hell out of me and a fair pace up the road to glasgow I still got 270 miles out of a tank!

fek me get them gt2s out of my way coming through
and the anti lag how loud
sorry for a late reply been out playing

My Anti-lag's not that loud, mind you there's quite a bit of wind noise when you're aproaching the sound barrier
Out of curiosity what boost are you running with anti-lag at idle? i'm about 5mm/hg
Maybe i'll have to get it turned up a bit when i get back

Nice one Si,
Didn't I tell you the remap would make the car feel phenominal I'll take a walk up to yours on Saturday avo/eve (seeing as the girlfriend is living it up in Leeds) and we'll go for a spin.
Later,
Kev

i'm about 5mm/hg
will try and have a look, but my exhaust is 3" all the way and a 4 1/2" back box so might be a bit louder than most

Out of curiosity can you decide how much boost you want when you switch on the anti-lag? So steve maps it accordingly?
Secondly, I get the pops and bangs at the minute,if the car is mapped properly would this eliminate the slight overfuelling that I have at the minute, what I'm trying to say is can I still get steve to map the car with slight over fuelling so I still get the popping and flames?
Or when the cars mapped so precisely there will be no over fuelling
Come on 18th JAN hurry up
