Ok just got back from PS. Rich set the cars geometry up spot on to his settings, then tested to see what the bump steer was like before carrying out the modification and found that my car didnt need the bump steer kit fitted as it was good enough as it was.

This was good news to me as it saved some cash.

Apparently every now and again they come accross a car that doesnt need the mod!

Havent had chance to try it out fully yet but roundabouts are much more fun........

Also went out for a spin in the PS sti 3, what a complete car it is, power, brakes and the superb suspension set up/whiteline upgrades, one very fast scooby.........

Excellent service as usual form PS.

Yeah it's different for every Scooby, they all need different thickness of shims, and as you've found out some don't need it atall

Done the 200 Miles round trip earlier today (Bl00dy Rain) anyway guys had the wheel alignment and bumpsteer mod. I must say well worth the trip. Dirk at Powerstation showed me eactly where my motor was out (Big Time!) But thanks to their mods, its perfect!.

Also, my F1's (only a week old) will wear out evenly. So guys get ya selves booked it.

Thanks once again Powerstation!

just to confirm
uk 99 scoob taken to powerstation for
anti lift kit

geometery set up =
no understeer

[note because of no understeer if your aggressive with steering and throttle - back end can unstick for a moment]

YOU RECCOMEND HAVING SPRINGS DONE AT SAME TIME ?not far for me to go its sounds like the best spent money to do this rather than engine mods

just phoned powerstation up
prices are as follows
bumpsteer mod £120+vat
eibach springs £135+vat +£80 fitting
anti lift kit £125+vat +£20 fitting
rear drop links £38 +vat for the pair rear
antiroll bar £100+vat
now the bumpsteer mod, springs, anti lift all need 4 wheel alignment
so do these together to save money
the droplinks and rear anti roll bar can be done with out the need of alignment
hope this helps lads
