You know what Druddle. I own 2 dogs and no cats. To be honest I don't even mind cats, it takes alot more than a bit of crap on my lawn to wind me up.
On the other hand you are obviously wound up far more easily, the whole point to me replying to you was because I was bored at work and wanted a laugh. I mean come on....you start a topic about your cat pissing on your bed, if thats not fair game then I don't know what is.
Lighten up m8, chuck the cat outside or something.

Maybe i am wound up easily but next time someone tells you to kill your pets or words to that effect then see what you feel like.
IF we have finished with this discussion maybe the mods can lock/remove it ?

Yeah may be I was harsh too... no one would like being told to have there pets killed... Same as I guess neither would they like being told that their death should come through a car crash!
I actually like pets..

No matter what sort of pet you have you do not want people suggesting ways of hurting or killing it or posting pictures or website addys, about it
This is sad and distressing at best.

"...have told my neighbours that if they see my cats sh1tting in their gardens then shout at them, chuck water over them and scare them, do whatever they want as long as they dont harm them..."
druddle - this is exactly the kind of passive attitute that gives cat owners a bad name.
I've seen my neighbours cat ****ing on my lawn numerous times. I've spoken to the cat owners and they said exactly what you did! But months on nothing has changed.
I wouldn't really care if it wasn't for the fact that my 4 year old daughter plays there and more importantly my wife is 6 months pregnant. If I ever found out that my unborn child was affected - I don't know what I'd do, but I can tell you now that the cat would die a horrible death.

MyLoft & KingRA - so if I came on here and wound you up about killing your kids cos they wet the bed, that'd be fine would it?
Some people see their pets as children.

Whats all this sh** about cats crapping on lawns, none of my cats ever have and nor have i seen neighbours cats doing it on mine. Cats will find a place to bury it as other people have said. Its a cats natural instinct.

Gtr_man so what you going to do if its fox **** or bird **** or any other animal excrement that gets on your kids toys from playing in the garden? Kill all the local wild life? If you remove all cats from your vicinity then I am afraid that still doesn't make it safe for your kids to play in the garden

Mercury - sounds like your cats are well trained - I've seen my neighbours cat ****e on my lawn and attempt to cover it with grass. Not very well buired is it.
What right do your cats have ****ting on another persons property - do you think it's OK?
What if I shat on your lawn?
How can you people justify this behvaiour - crazy!

Druddle asked for advice for his cat - if you don't have anything to offer - **** off and start you own "i hate cats" thread.
For the record - i don't like cats, but i'm not about to start moaning on somebody elses thread!
It's Friday - chill

They are classified as a wild animal. They are not classified the same as dogs for owners to be responsible for clearing up excrement. Its part of society, most people find normal that we have cats in this country and keep them as pets. If you have a problem with how society sees something then you need to take on society or move to somewhere society shares the same views as yourself.
Its normal for a fox to **** in your garden, why is it different for a cat? They are both wild animals. Cats are kept as pets because they can be kept as pets and are more domestcicated than any other wild animal and respond to human interaction. Foxes arnt kept as pets because they do not respond well to human interaction. You can not train a cat like a dog no matter how hard you try. Cats do what they like the same as any wild animal.

Instead I would suggest cat owners treat their animals as a domestic pet and take responsibility for them as such.

there is a bit of a difference between nuisance caused by wild animals and that caused by domesticated animals. I personally think owning cats is a bit selfish. they destroy the local wildlife and do create mess in other people's gardens. however, i also beleive in 'live and let live'. If people must have the little maruaders, let them get on with it. I shoo them out of my garden as a matter of principle but that's as far as i would go, maybe a quick spray of the hose if it was to hand.

************** - Another moronic cat owner who thinks his cat is innocent and can do no wrong.
www.cathate.co.uk has a strong following and it will only get stronger if cat owners don't take responsibility for thier animals actions.

So in fact the law makers that state cats are classed as wild animals and therefore owners are not legaly bound to clean up their excrement are in fact contradicting their own laws then from what you are saying?
Anyone who says control your cats really have not got a clue *shakes head in disbelief*
What you supposed to do? Give it gps with predifined co-ordinates as to where it can and cant go? Or take it for a walk on a leed? Its not a ******* dog!
They are an acceptable part of society in this country, accept it or lobby for a change of law ffs

Totally agree. Could never understand why people have cats, after all they roam outside for 15 hours a day and sleep the rest. Each to there own I suppose.
I have one of those cat scarer things that you can get from the RSPB. Works a treat, especially after one of the local ******* started p1ssing against our front door.

gtr_man there's far more important things in life than getting so wound up and supporting a hatecat campaign.... like hatemurderers/hatemuggers/hatepaedophiles/hate thieves
Get it into perspective.... do what I do - check your grass and remove offensive faeces. Not hard is it?

If you are confirming that your cat is a wild animal you are in breach of Section 14 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 that states it is illegal to release a non indigenous species into the wild.

Gtr_man you are the moron, I don't own cats any more but I dont go wanting to kill any that go and **** in my garden or jump on my car.
You are indeed a sad person if you cant understand that they are an acceptable part of society.
I have no intention of clicking on your cr@p link. You go and join your other sad little animal haters who like to inflict harm and suffering on defenseless creatures.
