The best thing we can all do is never by knocked off goods, other wise your putting the demand out there for these twockers to live off!!

Comment wasn't made in a nasty way, I only posted what I did as an addition to the other thread. - I do hope the car is returned without too much damage. I have been the victim of car theft before - so I do know how annoying / frustrating and inconveniancing (sp) it is.

What a damn shame, you build up a business and work hard and then criminal scum comes along and takes what they like.

I hope you get the Evo, etc back and i hope th scum who knicked it get their come-uppance!

For christ's sake guys where has your sense of humour gone? Anyone can see that Messiah's & Christian's comments were tongue in cheek.
Don't take life so seriously.
If you don't get up & laugh it off when **** happens, you will do yourself no good at all.

Darren

Ouch!

I'd guess that they would have had a good look round for what might be useful on a return visit
'Preciate you already are thinking along similar lines (and that this visit, itself, was probably a repeat), but this is good advice and reflects much experience which the Police Service have gained about "repeat victimisation". And it's good advice for anyone on this board who has a break-in, however small.

Which your, clearly, was not

Sorry to hear this Paul, hope the w@nkers get caught. Seems a very strange car to take, how many black IV's do you see on the road ? I assume it must be pro's shipping abroad to go to this much effort.

I don't think Graham and Paul appreciate that kind of sense of humour at the moment...tongue in cheek or not.

There has been a lot of damage done.

People should think a little before they type certain comments

F#ck me, its a car thats been stolen for Chr#st sake, some of the comments on here are like somebody has died, any break in isnt nice but we dont see this sort of response for people who have had their houses broken into (Whilst home)and the car taken.

It was at the business premises and Paul is probably right in that the people involved have been in the garage during business hours to scope the place out.

Its unfortunate for TSL and the people that use the company in that they will undoubtably now review the open workshop rule.

But again its a material thing that should be covered by insurance.

All I can say Zippy is if you don't like people's comments then don't read them.

Zippy, to performance types like us, a theft of a car is akin to a death, sad? perhaps, but many do love their cars more than is healthy.

I think most of the comments are due to TSL being a nice bunch of people and that crap like this happening to them is very sad news.

Just goes to show that if you're nice and let people into your garage some people will take the pish and rob you blind

Hope the gits are caught and nast things done to them.

hi Guys

many thanks for all the kind words of support. It has been a real lift.. particularly to the old dad, who as you can imagine was a bit down on sunday morning!

Thankfully, we are fully insured with Rum (recommended ) as peeps have said, so while it smarts a little.. we will bounce back bigger and badder than ever

I think the thing that upset us most of all was that the "gentlemen" that did this mashed a concours 93 Delta Integrale evolution in yellow out of the way to get the evo out. We are truly gutted for the poor chap who had kindly left that with us on the saturday. That is more upsetting than the EVO as it has suffered @ £8k of damage whilst left in for a head gasket . That poor little thing will never be the same again

Once again, a huge thanks from the whole family for all your kind words.. It really made the whole thing a lot less painful... cheers

Trouser

Sorry to hear of the loss mate. Surely there cant be that many shipping companys about. An email with a pic to a shipping comany should be able to narrow it down only a thought. Will keep eyes open up here. Apart from the distinguishing looks was there any other things that would make it known to you. Not that I would suggest you name these things. If the theiving C@@ts are on here they will know what to look for. Can I also suggest the market for right hand drive cars stolen to order surely cant be that big as only the Japanese and a few other countries have right hand drive cars.
