I see I am jumping on the band wagon a bit late, but I am sorry, but I have to point out I am the scum of all sports drivers. I DRIVE AN AUTOMATIC SPORT WAGON There I have said it.

And why? Because I wanted a car that handles well that would not cost the earth to insure and run. I am slowly modifiying it to make it slightly better. Turbo wheels are on, green panel filter in. About to uprate the brakes and am going to get a magnex Backbox and centre in the new year to get a better sound, may look at some eibachs, but then again I may not.

But other than that I am perfectly happy with it, and it can keep me entertained.

Oh just to add the only thing i dont like about sports is seeing them done up like a turbo complete waste of time and money IMO why make a car look like something its not beats me.Impreza sports are great cars as long as they look the way they rolled off the production line,on the other hand each to their own

I own a sport and I think they are great. Just as much fun on a slower scale.

 

Im not slagging anyone im stating facts,and no i dont have a sport or a UK 2000 i like plenty of power on tap without having to spend hundreds on mods.I also like a car without Allegro seats as standard,and as far as i know there isnt any 2 door sports keep taking the pills LOL

All baiting aside as i have previously stated the sport is the perfect way to get started in Impreza ownership so your 'why buy a sport' is a pointless question,the ANSWER is because its an affordable scooby.Now wind ya neck in and stop whinging coz ur getting quite boring now

If u read the posts carefuly i said i dont know of any 2 door sports.The clue is its a 2 door scooby now that limits it to 3 scoobs so with your enormous wealth of impreza knowledge im sure u can work it out.
