Sorry to spoil the outcome . . . . .

yeah like you did not know how it turns out anyway

but I think the sum total of profit after 18 months effort and seven properties = £200k.

Would someone like to explain how that equates to ONE millon pounds.

Nigel the developer is running for the hills next week.

pmsl at this thread , the thing is i agree that they are over mincing , and they didn't have a clue about how to design a family home . the cooker issue proved that , they blame anyone but themselves , but most of all i feel sorry for the project manager , how he hasn't put a hammer through both their heads is beyond me . also i think the idea is to turn 100 k into a mil £ property and not make a mil profit !!

Oh ah, you've hit the nail on the head there definitely. I wish I had no clue with respect to practicality, and an utter lack of respect for anyone else's opinions.

Get a grip would you? You're making yourself look silly

Red face

I have enjoyed this series though it does grate when they spend on designer stuff & you could get from B&Q or MFI in a flat pack for peanuts......& at the end why does he always phone his mum????

--what the **** has their sexuality got to do with the fact they are complete idiots at making money out of houses ?--

--They're annoying because they're muppets (though they doubtless make more cash than me) and have whiny scottish accents not because they're gay.--

Oh ffs dsmith, one minute your putting 96 down for slagging their sexuality and the next your calling them muppets basically because of their 'Scottish' accents. Afaik Scots are not generally renound for having whiny accents, if anything its the exact opposite.

Using your own comments as an example, what the **** has their nationality got to do with their whiney accents?

Get a grip man.

I'm pretty sure nationality is widely considered to have quite a big impact on "accent".

And this -> is a smiley.

Angry

I think some people are mising the point here I am mostly angry because under the pretence of making money for charidy two whining mincing egotistical tossers have spent our licence payers money in the pursuit of self promotion .

I dont know the actual cost of primetime bbc2 but i bet £200,000 (if that is the final figure)doesnt even cover a 10th of it
Any hafwit could have made 3 times the amount of money purely on the rise in the market the real losers here are the charity involved.

Is it great entertainment? (rhetorical) possibly but most of the contributors on here are just angry at the wasted opportunities and i am damn sure there would have been plenty of people glued to the program watching Nigel the developer actually making some real money.

Errrr no scratch that as a developer i DONT want that :
