Cool

Tony

Not sure yet TBH. The other option is a GL to keep all the toys and a trip to Bob Rawle for some decat pipes and serious mapping

Nathan,
I found that the spec c was actually a more expensive car than the GL (around 3000000 yen v 3400000 yen).
No doubt the comfort factor plays a part and you can get a GL for under 22k (which helps )

Good God that Evo looks just tragic.

Saw an red Evo 6 driver in the Shell garage the other day looking smug.......don't know why, he'd never pull any bird in that sad looking thing (unless 12 )plus the stickers...........oh dear

And the money you save can go towards some choice little modifications Stock engine should be good for 350 + bhp so I gather and internals should be good for over 400

Tony can you please email me with where I might be able to get a GL for around that price? Best I've seen so far was £23k brand new.

Cool

Cheers Tony

Importing myself could be very tempting as I imported my current 01 WRX from Belgium.

Wouldn't have a clue where to start from Japan though

Respect to the spec c owner, lovely car, but got to admit if the white EVO VI appeared in my rear view, then i'd gladly pull over!!!
am only running a lowly uk classic. Both are mightly impressive point to point cars.

2 my01wrx_anon: I did not buy my car from Litchfield Imports. I have 17" wheels. When I raced with that EVO I did my 1000 mile service just b4.

You mean those nice polite well mannered Jap engineers have broken the "Gentlemans agreement" and built a car with more than 280bhp
Shame on them

I think if you back off at all in that sort of situation you will start dropping back as you pay for it through all the gears.
