Scooby-tc, The P1 and 22B are the only to scoobs that stand out and that Cossie owners know that they will get a good race out of. The rest are just stupid special editions that don't hold there price!
In my view scoob's are the weakest car between the evo's and cossies, scoobs are slow off the line and have sh1te top speeds.
Although no car can beat that flat four sound

Or 4.3 for a Spec C. ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Scuba I really do suggest reading Evo this month. You may change your opinion. Or read the one from a couple of months ago when the Spec C was compared favourably to an M3CSL and 911 GT3. If I remember rightly the Spec c was quicker to 130 than the GT3! Not bad for a 27 grand car![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

Spec C looning around Silverstone
Its the right hand video clip about halfway down the page I'm thinking that it's been a long time since i've seen it look that effortless. Either a very well sorted car and good driver or crap car with exceptional driver. I'm reckoning the first one.
I think we've all seen the 22b film clips on the airfield, donuts, powerslides etc, but it doesn't look as graceful as this Spec C.

<Offering his opinion based on nothing more than "What it looks like in action"
Prefer red cars anyway

the P1 is without doubt the greatest.........................................
marketing triumph prodrive have ever come up with.
The 22B is showing its age in the company of the spec c, and remember it holds its value well because it started at £45k.
The spec c starts at 27k.
Of the new age, its the only one I would go for.
The 22B is only worth considering if you are in love with the car and no other car really does it for you. I would only consider buying it if you are inclined to want to hang on to it indefinitely. Otherwise the spec c apart from being heavier, is probably better all round.
In terms of frightening behind the wheel, the 22B is the most dangerous of all imprezas, but that is exaggerated by the wings being £2.5k per corner and the bumpers being £4.5k each if you can still get them.
and the real man to ask about both for an honest comparison is Iain Litchfield. He peddles the spec c more than most, and was the same guy who sold me my 22B, so has driven that at length too.

LOL @ this thread.
The 22B is only dangerous if you cant drive Adam.![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)

I would put my STi5 TypeRA Limited up against the spec C and kick its ****, even in lightweight form it is still lardy compared to mine.
Out of all the current cars available new, i would go for a Spec C though, very impresive piece of kit. I cant afford to run a 22B, i would quite like one but cant justify the risk in terms of costs for repair should some muppet hit it.

yeah your right, 11.4 is really not acceptable.
I'm gonna sell my car and buy a 10yr old Cosworth because all that 450bhp comes in so handy on UK roads.

And for that new spec-c, the spoiler has surely been nicked out of a mechano set..................too japanese for me.
Is anyone sick of all these new special editions, Am sure the cossie and Evo boyz are.
no disrespect to anyone for this slight rage session.

"Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type RA Spec C"
is that the actual retail name?
if it is your gonna have half an essay on the back of your spec-c.
:d
A think the spec-c grows on you, a think a was a bit harsh Dis' it earlier during that fury.
still think the P1 is king of the hill

Pi55ed off that U scooby folk can't produce a desent high power impreza.
and before u say 'harvey' he's to scared to boot the **** off it down santa pod!
A just don't understand why the rest (evo's + cossies) can tune quick cars but the impreza folk can't, and thats exactly why scooby owners get slagged etc for havin' slow cars, even by 2litre novas.
