Yep I'm in... into the 12's next time defo...

Hoisting everything in the car that has less than 4 bolts holding it in, and will be running just a drop of Optimax no the 3/4 tank I had last time... DoH!

Any news on the handling section yet? There's no mention of it on the website...

Doing fast 1/4 mile times in a scooby is surely only one small part of the appeal of a scooby surely? I mean most cars/bikes, when modded with enough power can burn down a straight course (as was shown at the 2003 event). It's the scooby's handling on a twisty road that makes it so special isn't it, not the straight line speed?

Come on less 'max power' drag-racing stylee and more real driving please.

If anything it would be interesting to see how well the 'power gurus' can go round a bend or 2....

Pockman, i know what ya sayin pockman,

will try again for a handling circuit, but there was a problem with costs and numbers last year, will have a better idea into next year...

do you not think you are trying to do the event too cheap?.

£30/car really does not go far to organise an event like this, especially keeping it mostly subaru and a few others rather than an open run what you brung day. TOTB was £80 iirc. I am not saying that you should be charging as much , but I think it is most important that the handling course is there , not just for the non-straighliners to have an event but to find the best competitors in all 3 events/overall to offer places at TOTB. we might never take on the big power skyines,etc but should be fielding the strongest 10 cars from previous results.

I agree Not much point in monster power if you can only use it when the wheels are pointing straight ahead
