Us girlies are not always the bad ones guys
It took two year for me to get a divorce from my hubby, I could have taken 50% but would have settled for £30K he offered me £5K so I took the b@stard for £45k instead

I'm not talking about alimony. I'm talking about stumping up to look after the welfare of your kids. CSA = Child Support Agency
Now for all you soon to be divorced men, try this as an experiment. Say to your ex that you will buy whatever the child needs directly for the child if the mothers are willing to inventorize it. See how their blood boils and demands the money instead.
Stop being so naive carl..

Unfortunately Kat I have no choice but to pay the ex directly. If I don't then she will put the CSA on me and they will take even more (not much admitedly) than what I pay her now so what ever happens she gets to spend it how she wants

It sux doesnt it. Makes you wonder why they married us in the first place (hint :"girls dont like boys, girls like cars and money"-good charlotte). And women claim to only want equal rights? What about during divorce situation? I think I'm gonna don a spiderman costume and climb up a bridge somewhere in protest of our injustices. Once I've gotten over my fear of height of course.

Sorry, but I'm firmly of the belief that the relationship between a father and his kids can never be the same as that of the mother and her kids. Sure, there can be love but not the bond that comes from carrying the baby for 9 months.

What a load of tosh (putting it politely) What I do for my son is exactly that, for my son. If my ex really put my son first above her own personal vendetta then she would let him see me more but she doesn't because she comes first, not my son. My feelings for my son are far stronger than what his mothers are to him because she uses him as a possession where as I do whats best for him.
Living with his mum he has now had 3 different primary schools all by the time he reached 6 years old, lived in 6 different properties in 3 years Thats really putting my son first If I had got custody he would still be in the same house and in the same school and the judge reckoned he needed a stable life which could only be given by his mum! What a load of ******* bullsh!t
One more move by her and I have got the b!tch anyway as it will be too much even for the out of touch judges to admit is good for my son![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
If she doesn't move then I have to wait until my son can decide who he wants to live with and I have been advised the courts will not listen to him until he is 10 years or older dependant upon his maturity for his age
Absolutely no rights for Fathers in this **** country what so ever

Mate at work got divorced, pays his CSA, he re marries and his new wifes wage is then included as income for divvying up as well, what way is that to start a new marriage. Meanwhile his ex wife has married a man who is nearly a millionaire, does this reduce the payments he has to make? NO! Why if the system is fair does his new wife have to contribute but her new husband who the kid lives with not? CSA MMmmmm

I didn't say it couldn't be as much -- it's just different. Anyway, Katana, what do you know? You're only 19 ![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
I'm still married ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Is anyone actually still married on here ?
Feel a little left out getting on with the missus and everything.

Ahh that explains a lot. You're still married. Look in this, we b*tch about how we hate our exes and how they're worst than Hitler, Mugabe and Stalin combined together. I mean, even the women are getting in on the trend here.
