Cool

I have no family, I'm an orphan.

They are tatoo's not tat's but I guess my previous post explains the reason behind it.

Question

Now I might be weird, I might be as old as the hills, I might be old fashioned ............... BUT, as has been said Tattoos are as old as mankind.

One thing that has NEVER changed is that class do NOT have tattoos - its for the lower level uneducated simple folk, which is quite handy really as when I see a tattoo I know that the wearer is of the lower class and I can safely order them about.

They can't think for themselves (or they wouldn't have a tat) so I have them bang to rights from the off!!

Wonderful invention - the upper classes needed a way to mark out peasants, low and behold they mark themselves!! Result!

FAO pslewis

I ave 8 tatooows,

One for every day of the weak

LOL

IMHO

Each to their own, if you like them and can live with them for the rest of your life fine, if not do not do it.

Myself I work in management for an engineering company and have no issues at all, happy with them and feel very comfortable in explaining why to the kids in years to come.

The trouble is with that theory Píssy is that if you and I don't have any tatoos then you are likely to strike up a conversation with me.

How the fúck can I identify you're lower class now and avoid lowering my standards by talking to you?

National health glasses maybe?

Question

Ooooops tricky one that - ocassionaly you get the odd rogue lower class who doesn't actually get a tattoo ......... that poses two problems:-

1. It means that they may have an IQ of more than 5

2. You could end up talking to one accidently (as Spoon says I could end up talking to him as he has no markers showing he is below my station)

Hmmmmmmm, difficult one that - the peasants NOT having markers!?

Will have a think on it

Píssy- I think you'll find I beat you to that.

That will be your giveaway, I'll recognise you wearing the same as me as you strive to be me.

Good luck in your huge quest.

And then I think about how sexy that will be when she's in a residential home having her **** wiped by the care assistant
This rarely happens to me, but I did actuall LOL at that!

Personally, IMHO:
tattoo on a bloke = thug (certainly wouldn't employ one!)
tatoon on a woman = Harlow bird

All IMHO, of course

Wath 'The Salon' and that will put you off Tattoos for life, used to be seafarers, army and hairy arsed bikers that had Tattoos, now its sickeningly trendy crimpers, they make my skin crawl, only watch it for the blonde girl whose name I forget.

Those across the back ones on girls are so old hat as well.

Correct J4cko .... old hat and tacky!

Trouble is they can't come off!!

And therein lies the problem! I have NO problems whatsoever with temp tattoos as when the wearer finds out they look about as classy and clever as a warthog they can allow them to wear off!!

Yukky Yukky Yukky Tacky Lower Class Fad

Talking

Spoon - glasshouses and stones come to mind - not just your spelling of tattoo but also the odd apostrophe
They are tatoo's not tat's but I guess my previous post explains the reason behind it.

Exclamation

You do *not* want to see his face. "Modifications" (ie implanted lumps) above his eyes to make him look more reptilian, apparently.

My own personal take on tattoos, for what it's worth, is that they're usually done becuase of someone else, on women at least. That is, their bloke of the moment likes them, encourages his girl to get a "cheeky" one, no harm done. Problem to me is, if that girl leaves the bloke, the tattoo becomes a permanenet reminder of the closeness she had with him, ie it's their past intimacy constantly on display.

That might be irrational, but it's always what crosses my mind when i see girls with tattoos. I'm therefore not a big fan.

Well after reading through this thread I am afraid my worst fears have been confirmed, I had heard several rumours that a certain person is bigoted, self opinionated and so far up his own @rse that he can't see reason.

My body and I'll do what I want to it is my opinion on this.

I spent 6 years debating whether or not to get a tattoo done and at 21 I finally thought, why not.

I got my second done a year later. I like both of them, they are generally concealed from public view unless I choose to expose them. There is a thread containing photos of them somewhere on here.

I don't care what people think of them because they were done for me, chosen by me and appreciated by me. My partner doesn't like tattoos and is not happy about me considering to have a third, but it isn't his body so he doesn't get a say in it.

Can you two explain something to me? If these tattoos are for you and you alone, and you don't care what anyone thinks, why are you posting on this thread defending them?

Yes, but if I didn't give a monkey's what anyone else thought I wouldn't say anything. The fact that you've expressed your opinion suggests that you do care what people think.

No, conversation is for when you are interested in someone else's opinion, and they are interested in yours.

I am, actually. I'm interested in what reasons people have come up with for having them, as I personally hate them. And to be honest, the 'best' answer that anyone's come up with has been "I like them, and I don't care what anyone else thinks"

Yeah you could take it two ways Carl, we could also not post our opinions because we are bothered about what people think.....

You should know me by now, I find it hard to be quiet at times. LOL
