Sorry boys, would have loved to have come to this but been in retail at christmas means there is no way i can get this off it will be far too busy at work. Looking forward to a future meet and sorry to hear about the probs Peccy, hope you sort it soon m8

tmo/daza know one sees me either..rotherham drivers obviously to fast to be spotted..!!
marx no worries re lift ring me to sort out times etc later in week..
re peecy's car ;when i heard it, it sounded like the crank and little ends where having a scrap!when i last spoke to peccy he was awaiting recovery..totally gutted for ya mate like everyone else..like i said don't get stuck mate be it for a lift/parts whatever..

back on the bus again car now at scooby clinic, just waiting to see where i stand, as only had the car a week! although didnt come with a warranty
kev at scooby clinic says its the main bearings, rods, crank, maybe piston and bore damage! same as what jasemac and dave wallis (via the phone) said.
the engine sounded like it had fall apart, stalled then wouldnt even turn over when tried to start it again.
had been hearing slight noises after the day i picked it up, one day there, the other not, thought it was a characteristic or nowt to worry about and was gonna get the scooby dealer to have a look at it when in for a cambelt service tomorrow, but then got much louder saturday and died the next day
truly gutted!

i'll just be one of the sheep, I have no idea where donnington is... I'll have enough trouble finding J31 to meet up. In fact I have trouble finding my *** with both hands.

hehe thanks for the offers guys, but im fairly sure i can make it to the services lol... which way is everyone going to the M1, along retford road to the bypass? (past the princess royal)? If anyone does feel like dropping by to start up the convoy before the m1, im easy. can wait on end of soaphouse lane/ or maybe on retford road if ya want, what ever, let me know.
