Had an email with some concerns over warranty. I thought I would copy my response on here:

I had the same concerns. The warranty is the same as it would be if we purchased in UK (ie you have to post it bck to them). It will just take a day or 2 longer.

Also after speaking to both suppliers (k300 and radar-shop.co.uk) it appears there was a problem batch which appears to be rectified.

So therefore there's no difference in uk supplier or radarshop.co.uk, other than delivery times (and a big saving)...

theres a guy trying to sell one for £290 in the 'For sale' forum!

to put a small spanner int he works at this late stage ... sorry bob ... my original one was in the faulty batch ... customer service from comtech was very good. my replacement has "failed" once ... in that it didn't register as "on" with the roadangel for 1 day. in the last 2 weeks it's been fine ... but still there's a slight concern.

I do hope the dutch supplier can match the service if there are problems - I personally would be happy to pay the extra at K300 just for the peace of mind of UK based returns ... but then others may have more pressing price requirements.

The returns procedure is exactly the same as if it was a UK supplier. It just take a couple of days longer with postage. The supplier sounds very knowledgeable and reasonable.

i have come in on this group buy for a friend who has no internet access.

i have left it with him to order his own one - however i have not been able to contact him to find out wether he has done so .
