Question

I have already shown interest in a TEK2 remap at Power Engineering but if the difference in cost isnt too great then I would go straight for the TEK3.

Does anyone know the performance figures for this mod compared to the TEK2.

Put me down as interested.

Sorry to be thick but is this an upgrade to an exsisting peice of kit or a 'bolt on' of new kit - also i've got an 01 WRX - will it work on this??

P.S

Hi Rob, hows it going mate, You gonna sell me your wheels yet? .
From when I was looking and speaking to people about the Tek 3, it is a Re-map of the factory ECU, it will improve on the factory map and optimise on any additional mods you have done. Your get a more drivable car, more power, torque and I have read better MPG. For me, with a JDM car, I will get it mapped to optimax so I don't have to keep using octane booster every time I fill the car up. Money well spent and it should pay for itself in time.

This is not a pitch....honest

simb

Edited to say, the Tek 3 is for My99 cars and onwards, so it will fit your car. If i'm wrong on any of this info please correct me.

Pippyrips,

Texted you regarding the filter.
Did we establish if the filter is the same for MY'01 WRX?

Note for all: -
************************************************** *************
TEK/BRD3 custom mapping can be done on MY99 onwards up to MY03 and MY04. This covers all models and specifications. The 3-port solenoid is recommended for better boost control and will not be fitted to any cars as standard factory specifications.

Upgrades are not entertained by BRD in the group buy special price.
************************************************** *************
Seasons Greetings to all.

Burb.

SimB

Just had a chat with Rob regarding this little beast of yours.
What exhaust have you got on her?
Is it louder than a NUR spec?

No upgrades my ***!! The license goes to ECUTEK anyway so all BR should make on this is the price of the mapping and standard profit. All they have to do is take the license fee off the price!!

Gutted. Thoroughly gutted.

Perhaps I will sell my tek and buy a new one for my re-map....

Unhappy

Twigster,

really sorry about this mate, maybe you should contact Branko and state your case. It's all money after all eh?

Failing that, maybe do waht you suggest by selling your TEK.

Twigster, pick the dolly up mate, if you want an upgrade its at a much reduced price as normal from us (provided the license is accessible) and if you want to know what that is then call us don't shout about it, the group buy is for the start from scratch people. The upgrade cost is substantially cheaper even than the group buy discounted price.

cheers and merry xmas

Kazlo,

Gains depend on the spec of the car, might be 15% power and torque or so. Driveability and useable torque are the main gains of the remap.
