Sorry, dont have any rolling road data to offer but I can heartily recommend this mod, you will not be disappointed. The car accelerates in 4th gear like its in 3rd, and in 3rd accelerates like in 2nd.

Make sure you have good quality fuel in the tank before hand though otherwise Bob will not be able map to the max. Time to give Supermarket Super the brush off

I am interested in this for my MY99 V-Reg, its got a full de-cat, K&N Induction Kit and soon to have a VTA Dumper on it too.

With these mods are we still looking at a 15% increase in power and torque, or will it be more or less than that??

Can you mail me the price on farnanson_2k@hotmail.com with the details for this please, and an estimated time about when this will go ahead.

I bought this car used from a Subaru Dealer, with the de-cat and induction kit on... Still got warranty with the car too, I suppose that this will void all that?? Or do people think that I could get away with saying that it must have been the last guy who did it when he bought all the other parts for the car?? Just not too sure about voiding my warranty, then incurring some big ££££ bills?!

Cheers,
Grant

RS Grant,

BRD will never quote figures as this is car and type of mods dependant. All cars will benefit significantly from the remap.

I have confirmed my definite interest and inclusion in the Tek3 group purchase with "Burble" by e-mail.

Please count me in!

I'm waiting for a reply from Hayward & Scott re the centre exhaust section and de-cat downpipe (unless I can find a suitable secondhand system? )

Thanks, Martin

Martin, well done mate, glad your getting your exhaust sorted out. H & S is a good make, but if it does'nt work out, check out the for sales forum as there's bound to somthing there for you. Try putting a thread in the wanted section for the specific item you want, will also help and most prob save you some cash at the same time. You can put that towards more mods

Is it worth combining the P1 Forum list onto this one so we can see the total number of people interested in moving ahead? I am one of 3-4 people ay least on the P1 forum who have registered an interest. I would want it done by Bob in Swindon as well rathre than Richmond area.
Cheers

Maca - Snowcrash, Can't see a problem with getting it done in Swindon, its where he did a mate of mine who took part in the last one. Plus there's some excellent roads around Bob's place to do the mapping

Hi guys,

We might be able to specify where the remaps are performed, Branko had suggested that Richmond could be used if the weather was good??

I will clarify this and some other points in due course.
We have enough numbers listed for a buy to take place, but some people do drop out unless hard cash is paid. We had not combined this with the P1OC group buy as I was not sure if that one would get off from the ground on it's own. I have been in touch with the organiser on P1OC and we have come to an arrangement with BRD regarding the number of people we each require for the buy to go ahead. Please do post on more than one forum as this will confuse the booking process between S/Net and P1OC.

I will post some details shorlty after contacting BRD and then we will have to firm up the confirmations in the list with pennies.

Thanks for the interest in this group buy to date.

************************************************** *************
TEK/BRD3 custom mapping can be done on MY99 onwards up to MY03 and MY04. This covers all models and specifications. The 3-port solenoid is recommended for better boost control and will not be fitted to any cars as standard factory specifications.Upgrades are not entertained by BRD in the group buy special price.
************************************************** *************

This thread is to register interest in the group buy; confirmations will be made in the form of a deposit payment to BRD in due course. We hope that all parties listed will remain interested in this fantastic deal and not drop out, otherwise we will all miss out!

Have now got a brand new full Scoobysport de-cat system & downpipe ready to fit (thanks my "Wanted exhaust system" thread!) I will get a K&N panel filter to replace the standard one, I've heard that this is worthwhile and that the standard air-box is OK to keep, is this true? I also have a spare 3 port valve so I can fit that.

I prefer having the mapping done at Swindon due to ease of access. How much will the deposit be and where do I send it?

Thanks, Martin

Steveie Boy - Cheers mate.
Mef, I will post instructions regarding deposits once enough people have confirmed that they will be going ahead with the buy as opposed to just being interested.

All,

BRD have said that they will try and be flexible on the locations for the remaps, but no Richmond work will take place before April.
Remaps will take place from March onwards (therefore they must all be booked way before then).

regards.

Burb.
