lol my dasd bigger than your dad etc etc, its like being in the playground again
As for people saying ooooh 22b 22b, the car they had up for debate and got deemed a crock was a standard turbo, nothign more nothing less.
Yes a 22b is a classic, but they werent talking about that
TBH imprezas are common as muck round here, cant go a journey without seeing loads.

this Scoob's are common stuff confuses the hell out of me, I travel up and down the motorway to London on a regular basis and probably see between 0-5 cars each way now I don't see that many Escort Cossie's but then they stopped making 'em years ago!

Well a Standard Scooby Turbo UK is quite common around here. Its a specific Subaru Model. If you want a comparason how many Mondeo ST220's do you see?
Or even ST24's?
Or back to the program how about Fiesta RS1800's?
Scoobs are common because they were and are very popular as they are good. Cossies were more expensive insurance and cost wise for the time thus less of them.
I cannot belive people on here would really care about what top gear has said anyway - has your car suddenly become less fun to drive because of it?

Bought mine as a good, value for money, performance drivers car, couldn't give a flying f**k what it is when its old, time to move on IMHO!
Cant see many people getting all nostagic and dewy eyed in their dotage about some old scoob, too many exotics about needing TLC for that to happen.
What is it with J.C. and Mercs, he looked a right old duffer in that old SL, the car looked cool, but he looked like he was on his way to collect his pension in it. Cars like that are fashion accessories, nothing else unless you like getting your hands dirty maintaining them...not his thing I am sure Did him no favours at all IMHO More Old Crud than Top Gear.

A lot of this is down to your mindset though. When I had a Celica I noticed other ones on the roads. Same with the Scooby - you're subconsciously on the look-out for them, so you suddenly think there are a few more about than before.
Fact is, there are loads more of other cars, like the Tittie for example, if you're looking for them.
Sure, there are less examples of say the RS Focus, but they've not been about for a decade.
IMO, Top Gear is a pile of sh!te, as Clarkson worships whichever car manufacturer he's either driving or about to, and the other guys seem to praise the ground Clarkson walks on, if they can get a word in...
Though saying that, Mr Vegas was pretty amusing on Sunday; was just a shame he didn't slide off track and write off Clarkson's Tossamobile. Now that would have been entertaining!

Classic or not, the only reason people starting buying them and have continued to buy them is because they are F11cking quick and can "handle" also relativly cheap. At the end of the day all 3 versions are pig ugly, I wouldn't have bought mine if it had the same performace figures as a X type Jag for example.
Each to their own.
Ps, the little tw@t on top gear is trying to be the next JC who in turn is just a big tw@t.

Can't believe you guys are so upset! Its just their opinion - they were going to put the GT3 in 'uncool' until that girl said what she did FFS!
In any case, based on their criteria, which 2 of the 3 do you think the original Imprezza scores on?
1. Rare.... nope
2. Interesting.... yep
3. Beautiful.... nope
Edited to say: If you guys e-mail TG it will just create a joke for everyone else - he will rip you apart for writing in!
