Pure genius.
The one last night was very dark - but still excellent IMHO![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Tonights was amazing. His Animals stand-up DVD is first rate as well - especially when he tells the elephants not to cry for being caught swimming 2 miles out at sea

I haven't been a massive OTT fan (made me cringe too much) of the series so far, but tonight's episode was brilliantly scripted, superbly filmed (from an emotional point of view) and was a fitting finale (if not a little hopeful) to the programme.
Personally I feel that Ricky Gervais is a little too close to the David Brent character for comfort, though after watching the last episode tonight, maybe he's as good an actor as Sellers, and prefers to keep himself to himself.
Regardless, hats off to him for the series, and he deserves all the accolades he may receive for the writing of it.

We all have our preferences of course, but I think the programme was really entertaining right through the series' and also that Gervaise is a very good actor and comedian. He more than held his own on the J. Ross show. It was a difficult part to play and he did it brilliantly.

Turns out that David Brent's version of 'If You By Now Me By Now' is to be released for real.
