as regarding the attitute, Mycroft wanted to show that he didn't like going with the norm and that he had really anorthodox views on almost everything. Chaos is just a windup merchant as people before me said. What is the same is the effect on SN imho.

I read a lot of threads take notice of the constructive comments and ignore most of the muppet style stuff i also believe in freedom of speech etc but Chaos' comments on the police shooting thread were well out of order and have no place on a public bbs.

I think that we should ban Chaos so that he doesn't spend all his time in a forum.

With the time he saves not posting he could be getting himself some qualifications to get a job over 10K a year. Or looking for a job to get himself on the ladder.

Therefore he would have no reason to post on Scoobynet as his life will be so greatly improved as he will have a job and be able to afford the luxurys he wants.

Cool

He deserves fair warning. The usual Scoobynet policies for trouble makers will suffice. I agree that his current posts are really not welcome, and I am confident that our moderating team will inform him of his breach of the T&Cs and warn him of the consequences if he does not fall in line with the very simple rules laid out for posting on this site.

I think our moderating team are capable of handling the situation without our input, and CERTAINLY without resorting to the Mycroft debacle again.

At the end of the day, if you misbehave you will be asked to behave. If you do not do ask asked, you will be asked to leave. I think that's a fair summary of the situation.

According to the post in Scoobynet Policy Shaun and Simon are dealing with this so why don't we them a chance to sort this out - it's their board after all is it not?

To me there seems little point in revving him up all the more by posting in this thread.

Just my 2 cents.

doh! had not looked in policy.

Think the rule of thumb is, RTM a thread, and mods will look at it, if there are a lot of RTM's and they seem to say the same thing "this user is a pillock, ban them" (this is a general statement and not aimed at any one user) then it would, no doubt, be looked into and appropriate action taken.

Chaos,in all seriousness you're right.

Its okay to waste a few years in your teens, but unless you want to earn crap money, and worse, have a totally unfulfilling career, you need some qualifications/training.

Then you can have two M3's....

Leave him be, we need someone with an alternate swing on life and to square up to boring PC lot on here . I find it quite funny when they take him so seriously too.

A few years back in my uni days I used to specifically wind up people on forums for a laugh. I doubt chaos is any different. The poeople who take it seriously make it more amusing

If you don't go for the bait then you won't get reeled in - simple as that!

OK for ppl having a laugh and winding ppl up. But do you really think it was right for him to post the comments he did? I thought it was too far as it was a 'serious' thread about the police officer.

The comments shouldn't have been taken seriously anyway if they were. The whole point of winding people up is to make controversial opinions and posts in order to get a reaction.

Perhaps it is OTT. Easier to ignore than to try and argue it....or just let the mods deal with it - afterall, that's why they are here!

Why TK was banned - In a nutshell...

Because she took the bait, took topics posted on here too seriously and went off on one far too many times because of it.

He`s from the gutter!! his posts on the shot policeman thread crossed the line. not clever, not funny, and not brave. just a geek behind a pc and bottle glasses, when he was born the midwife slapped his mum.

page 3 and not a mod in site!!
