Stevieboy, I’m a member of this site, and have made a greater contribution than a mere 17 posts. Having owned 3 Impreza turbos at various stages over 6 years, also been to many local and regional Scooby meets and have made many friends from here, I suppose I'm not automatically an enthusiast unless I like garish, pointless crap that some muppets think look good on a car.
Also, nor am I a dictionary clubber, whatever that means. Find it quite amusing the pi55 poor standard of basic spelling on here, as it detracts from any argument/point that person might have when the simplest of spelling lets them down and makes it difficult for any reader to understand what they’re going on about.
Time there was a spelling "band wagen"
And I’ll say it again, neons are crap, and more more suited to Novas in McDonalds car parks.

As you have more experiance and a better comand of the English Language then surely you can understand the question.
Does it ask for an opinion on Neons ? NO
Does it ask for someone to correct the spellings on all the answers ? NO

Now I know that some of you may not like the underbody neons, but each to thier own.
My STi PPP arrives end of this month and I want to fit it with some green underbody glow.
Anyone know how I can source the kit, how much and if it's easy enough for a simpleton like me to fit.
Thanks.

That's it Phil, keep the words to a minimum. You have a fighting chance of putting up a post with no mistakes in it then.
Wasn't tired, just bored.
Too true TC, too true. What next, Day-Glo spat stickers on the windows?

Well Zaph. I was told they were showing a blue light to the rear of the car. £30 fine and no points seemed totally unreasonable. The lights I got are so tucked up out the way you cant see any of the bulbs from bumper level of the car all you can see is the reflection. But when the boys in blue that do such a tremendous job keeping our streets safe from us Neon terrorists especially when the car was parked up without the engine running in a public carpark and nobody in the car then who can argue. It all depends on if the coppers wife is getting her daily quota from him or the milkman mate. As another copper stopped me whilst driving with the blue Neons on and checked them and also checked the car and said he really liked the look of the car and said all was legal as you cant see the tubes and there is no alw against reflection. both coppers were Traffic division and you gonna ask why i didnt take the fixed penalty to court. Simple reason is that it would of cost more than the £30 so whats the point let them fine me. Lets hope they stop the waggons and vans and the cars that are showing blue to the front.

Hey, I'm glad I didn't ask a controversial question......
Guess I may leave the neons out or I might get lynched.
Imagine if someone finds out I am not a white hetro-sexual god-fearing anglo saxon!

Predictable cheap insults instead of reasoned discussion
One look at your posts and I can see much reasoned discussion
Glad to see the person in "comand" of the SIDC is such an intellectual heavyweight. No wonder I haven't renewed my membership for a good few years.

As the person whom Salsa King claimed was responsible for his present involvement with neons, I can also claim to be at least twice the age of the average Scoobynetter, and definitely don't fit the max power stereotype (the only mod I have is a K&N induction kit). IMHO, neons are no more or less garish than gold wheels(which I also happen to have), and unlike switched on fog lights or exhaust note resembling a jet at takeoff, they don't disturb other drivers. They may distract, but more because of their novelty than poor taste. Finally, did anyone put flashing multi-colored LEDs on his/her X'mas tree? Same thing.
To Phil, why don't you look into the marketing possibility of a photoflorescent paint that makes the entire car glow in the dark? You can then have a white car during the day and a UV glow one at night and it will be perfectly legal cos there is no light bulb involved. I have already sourced the pigments for that, lol.
