aye twas me in pizza hut - u the dude that had the cossie once? -

- grant less of the old school please referred to as "original" - my car is actually the one that inspired the impreza as it was lighter than what sub had used before in the rallying then when sub brought out the impreza, mitsubishi then put the galant vr4 enginge into my model of lancer and thus the mighty evo was born!

- and i didnt "follow" grant over from ddc!! been on scoobynet under diff names for a couple of years as i intended to get a scoob - but they were too slow hence the lancer

actually i'm regged on quite a few forums and tend to loose track -rsoc, hondar, mlr,evonet,ddc, avforums and znet to name a few!

may actually even get a cheap scoob to mod as evo's are getting too pricey at the mo! plus the scoobs are getting a xr3i boyracer image - should suite ddc just fine!

LOL @ Scoobs being too slow, my UK Scoob was keeping up with you 1st and 2nd, then equal in 3rd, and in 4th was starting to pull on you, wonder what would happen in 5th! This was with witnesses...

Heaven help you if you ran up against a proper Jap Import 'rex! lol

Nyle, who told ya that BOS m8 ? The original impreza GT was based around the Legacy RS which it replaced, hence the similarities between the two even to this day

i know where you mean as i was on outside lane no way in 1st 2nd and 3rd dude! and i never used 4th! hehe i know very well how my wee mota does against scoobs - and yes all turbo scoobs in 4th will pull away as they have more torque and taller gearing than me and did ur spielberg witness no tell you that my front damper was shot and knocking like mad causing dodgy handling - hence the understeer

and pete - I passed a few scoobs to "catch" you and backed off a wee bit as i saw you pull infront of the other scoob and saw how "edgy" it was - next time we'll use a " clear hairpin" and do a "lap" and i'll wave on my way past! i may only have two pots but can still use them!

was it not the reason for sub. to change from the legacy to the impreza because the lancer was way lighter than the legacy and they needed a more competitve car, then when the impreza started to pull ahead bishi then put the galant engine into the lancer to pull back the impreza? - think i got that off the mlr lancer history - but aint gonna debate it coz i just read it and dont rally bother

aye waiting for an email from the dude with bumper to confirm sale and wont collect till at least the 23rd post exams.
and depending upon summer job placement prospects will either go for an evo3/4, sti/stira or mabye a r32gtr/r33gts
i'll be keeping the rs as a track car anyhoo - mabye i'll ask the birds permission!

and yes i loaf in the best student fashion - best thing about "studying" is the 24hr web access and coursework resoures !!

whens the next meet - can wait as i get my car serviced at months end so will be raring to show you scoobs, uk, jap, sti's wagons etc. the marvel of the three diamond buzz!! + i may even go to 1.1 bar

been out driving and found some nice areas to meet... very picturesque too!

 

LOL Nyle, "catch me" they red things were my break lights lol, had 2 back off as the car was torque steering commin off the corner at full bore m8. No doubt u will fell, cos i`ll b on the second lap as your finishing the 1st

When u r upgradin lemme know as my man in Japan gets me some real sweet deals

Keep an eye on the board, thinkin bout maybe tying in the dyno day with the nxt one I`ll post up nearer the time though.
