JOHNNY thats what i would have thought,i mean a subaru must cost more to maintain ie newer car so a lot of ppl want to keep up dsh,as for fuel how do the do to the gallon,ive heard stories of 17 18 ish to the gallon but you know how stories are,plus subaru must be dearer to insure,but at least no rust,water leaks etc that you get with an old car,

I find the scoob much cheaper to run to be honest.

I found with the cossie i was always doing something to it, not that it broke, but it was always getting wee things done, and that added up.

I used to average about 14-17mpg in mine.
The scoob gets much more.

Although...Cossie was a better laugh.

thats the thing with cossie's they are that cheap to tune you just can't leve them alone,fuel well if i put £40 of shell optimax +1 bottle of octaine booster i get if im lucky 165 mls,must say i do miss 4wd though

Think i've only managed that low once in my scoob.

Worst i got in the cossie was 8mpg
