no figures as yet on my new STi6 Type R, but it books a 0-60 in 4.3 and is MUCH faster then my old turbo 2000 with simliar bhp power, think the low ratio gears are a big advantage on the 1/4.

my mate with a standard (exept backbox) STi4 Type RA did a 12.8sec 1/4, so im hoping for a bit less with more power

Think Stickys times are representative of what the car can do with the "that" power. I did a 12.9 @ 106, std STI with exhaust, made 288hp on RR, so v similar

There's some good times there.

A lot of it is down to the launch, get that right and you can shave off a second off the 1/4 mile time. Its still not that easy, even with a Scooby, I've see nguys, fluff the starts and then get seriously off boost, and come in well over 15 seconds. Do it well, and I think well into 13's for a tuned Scooby:-)
I've heard that the transmissions can suffer probs with the Scooby's doing frequent drag starts? is this the case?
It certainly is with the GTO, where even a few can damage the centre diff.
Luckily, (or not!) getting drag starts with the Coupe is an art, what with near 300 lb'ft torque, low transmission loss, and then only two wheels transmitting the torque, and a largish turbo coming on song around 3000rpm, makes for some fun starts..heheee.
