ID is the typical gung-ho USA saves the world manure. Reasonable if you disengage your brain...
I thought Signs was okay, but why would an alien race coming to take over a planet, opt for hand-to-hand combat when they had the technology to exterminate humans? And why choose a planet whose surface is 2 thirds covered in a substance that is deadly to them (water)? Was creepy though with the scene at that party!

as for Independance Day what a load of bollox that film is, I did watch it last night and its worse than I even remhember,a load of yankee back slapping patriotric unrealistic bull****!
