we live in a mad world where the majority of people I believe are reasonable people who don't disrespect anybody (apart from the half wit muppet of neighbour I have )
can anybody tell me why in 4 years of going to my sons Christmas performance never once has there been a nativity play? This year it was "Captain Christmas" some pirates, animals and a Queen but I lost the plot completely so just enjoyed the songs LOL!
just curious, I went to the schools Duwhali celebration 2 years ago and thouroughly enjoyed it

Many of the countries you mention have bigger issues to deal with than simply chucking cars 'round corners fast Christian! Many are at a different stage of economic and internal development than the wicked west - mind you Pakistan does quite well in the Cricket field I hear

am sorry but I agree with the original comment of the thread.
He may well have been racist in what he said but he is entitled to his opinion and entitled to say it.
I don't believe he said all arabs, and he did pre editing, say arab nations, not arabs.
What he said was definitely contraversial, but he should not have been cancelled for saying it.
If he chooses to apologise then that is a career move on his part, but he should not be made to in order to retain his job.
If his ratings slip in the process and the show is cancelled then the people have spoken and he made his choice.
I don't understand all this pc nonsense. the british national party are openly racist, but they are allowed to publish holocaust denial literature, because they have the right to say what they think.
why on earth does freedom of speech work all the rest of the time, excpet when it comes up against political correctness.
Its all utter nonsense.

Sorry guys - cricket is for girls or *** jockeys. I think you will find we are far better at motor racing than whacking a silly leather covered ball around. ( Same applies to football - the exception being Rugby, we kick *** in that sport and no doubt!!!)

freedom of speach in this country only applies to people of a status concerning majority. Anybody who feels they can discuss their felt views and opinions are slaughtered and deemed racist and vendictive because of what they truely feel.
If I was to express an opinion that "scoobynet was a place of self righteous pri**s who think their opinions matter enough to post up to ten pages on a single topic" I wonder what responses I would get.....it wouldnt be fair enough mate thats your opinion.....
NO it would activate a barrage of why do u post on here etc......in reallity we as a nation are all just as bad as each other and myself including all have personal views and feel the right to express them.....
I agree with Kilroy on his views which are namely fact but the way in which these were brought accross were too blunt to be deemed acceptable to the race sensative pr**cks who are scared to state these views that many share but would not express in such a way as the good man Kilroy did.
What would you do in his position?

People should be allowed freedom of speech whatever their opinion.
Ive been working up in S****horpe since Sunday with two Scots lads and two English. Not once have the English referred to me as Geoff, it always been just Taffy.
Imagine if I was black or Asian and I was called Golly or Paki. If I was Irish I'd have been called a Paddy. There would be uproar. So bloody what. Names dont hurt you. I didnt cause a riot in Scunny because I was called a Taffy and felt as if I was a victim of racism.. I just went along with it as others should learn to do. As my Mum used to say to me. "sticks and stones etc"
Chip.
