My wife is better than I am at spotting them and takes the pi$$ whenever I miss a wave. I claim to be concentrating on driving of course, not day dreaming. She never misses a wave when I'm in the passenger seat because I shout "scooby" to remind her.

Thumbs up

I always wave or flash, sometimes people are past the waving zone before I spot them due to traffic / distractions etc - so appologies

I agree with others, once you get used to acknowledging Scoobs it's very difficult to stop. If you get flashed or waved at by a Green LR Discovery that might be me in the wifes 'school bus'

We love the wave but it's hit and miss if you get a response round here.
Sod it if they don't wave back still makes us smile.

I love it when I've got the scoob (MY98 Turbo Wagon) and I'm poised ready to wave soon as I spot one!
Typically never pass as many when I'm driving... gutted!
Guaranteed soon as he gets back behind the wheel we see loads and he gets the privilege of waving.
I can't help saying 'scooby' to him so he doesn't miss a wave.
Good team!! lol

I do have to make a conscious effort not to wave when I'm driving my own BMW I've done it a few times felt like a prat but hey never mind!

Still smile at scoob drivers when I'm in my own car.
So if you see a smiley girl in a bm it could be me! lol

I wave and always seem to get a wave back. Another thing anyone noticed young kids waving as you drive past. Happened a couple of times now. One thing I have noticed is nobody North of Manchester seems to spot Suabrus on here and give them a mention in WAS IT YOU SECTION.

I've only had my scoob for a week and don't see that many other scoobs round here, but willing to give a go. Tried a wave last week and got totally ignored, but will keep trying (for a bit anyway)

Does anyone think there is a 'waving gap' between classics and new shapes ? I'm new to all this so haven't experienced anything myself - I just wondered.
