Cheers for all the advice.

Would fitting the mid section require any adjustment to mizture etc

Also reading lots of posts for induction kits possibly causing MAF failures. Would fitting ITG panel filter cause problems

Panel filter shouldn't cause any problems, there was talk of it potentially damaging the filament maf sensor of the later cars, but this has never been confirmed directly.

If you dont have a mappable ecu, I dont know how you would alter the mixture to accomodate the new mid section.

if the mid section has made a difference, I would expect it to cause the car to run a little leaner, which would mean adding fuel if you could to compensate.

Standard ecus run rich anyway, so I dont think there will be a problem.
